NBA 54 Adjustable In-Ground Basketball Hoop with Tempered Glass Backboard

All the parts were not there no anchor bolts had to spend 100 dollars and buy separately because they will not just ship out the missing parts.

Can not adjust backboard to level without trying to bend brackets everytime you adjust height you have to re level

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS! It appears that every reviewer from November 2022 is having the same issue! The incorrect backboard is sent, and there is absolutely no way to get the correct one. It's extremely difficult to get a replacement shipped and the replacement was still WRONG. The bolt pattern on the rim and the backboard do not match up and the backboard doesn't fit correctly on the pole (though it could be forced on feasibly). IF YOU READ THIS REVIEW AND STILL DECIDE TO PURCHASE, make sure to check the board to the rim bolt patterns immediately before wasting your time on anything else. We were one of the unfortunate ones to cement our pole into the ground before figuring out that the backboard was incorrect. Now we will have to bust up $90 worth of concrete to start the process over again with a completely different product!

Yeah.. just like other people WRONG backboard. Seriously don't buy unless you're ok with receiving the wrong backboard and returning it for the new. Big waste of time… hopefully they send the right one this time

Ordered this 54” NBA Inground basketball hoop system for my sons birthday. Quality item once put together; however, just like many other reviews…the wrong backboard was shipped. When I try and assemble, the mounting holes for the basketball hoop are 4” off and the mounting eyes on the back of the board are not even welded on. I call Walmart customer service and tell them the issue, but of course the customer service rep can not help me. She says she can email that product fulfillment center and have them contact me to get this issue resolved…just one problem with that as well - they had the wrong fulfillment center contact me. This center has no idea what I'm talking about and say they do not sell basketball goals. What is going on!? I can't return it because I have the anchor cemented into the ground and I can't continue further…what do I do? I have a very disappointed little boy that wants his basketball goal. I just need the correct backboard!! Any help is appreciated. For the customer: Save yourself a lot of time and stress and order another product. For Walmart: someone had better give me a call, email or something to help me get the correct backboard for this product!!

Same issue here, backboard and rim bolt pattern do not line up. I have received 2 post systems and 1 backboard. The first post system had issues with the adjusting actuator and the rim. Walmart Customer service was great and they quickly sent me a new post system. The second post system must have been version 2. The quality was much improved and I was impressed with the changes, the paint was better, the hardware was nicer the adjusting actuator was larger diameter and the rim was better. Great improvements! However, engineering made one MAJOR flaw the version 2 rim upgraded rim does not work with version 1 backboard! I was able to to mount my version 1 rim to the backboard, but this rim is one of the reasons I got a replacement. It is missing a few of the net holder loops and the paint was severely chipped. I hope they come out with a version 2 of the backboard because this would be a great product. However, I'm worried that with the current price $250, this maybe discontinued and we'll never see that version 2 backboard. If I see some good reviews again and I would be happy to pay another $250 to get something that will bolt to the anchors that I cemented into my yard.. Picture 1 shows the issues with version 1 rim paint. Picture 2 compares the rims - the version 2 rim is shown beneath version 1 rim - Showing bolt pattern does not match. Those threaded holes are much narrower than the bolts mounting rim 1.

Wrong rim for the backboard they sent. Even the pictures on the two boxes don't match. Come on Quality Control! Was told to disassemble and return. That's not happening. Then was told I should've checked the parts before cementing. Really? This is my fault? They're sending me a replacement, but I have low confidence this will have the right rim.

I read the reviews so many times and thought this was an amazing buy. I was so wrong and will never purchase from them again. I will be filing with BBB and they truly need to issue a full recall and rectify the backboard/rim issue as I am just 1 of many who purchased this Nov 22 and am now facing a HUGE problem! Walmart needs to step up and rectify the situation for all of our families!!! Here's details of our issue if you want to read on! 1. QR code for Directions and video does not work 2. It didn't have all the necessary nuts, etc to balance. *I called the number on the instruction manual and they informed me that they are not able to see any Walmart.com orders so I had to wait to hear from a different department who then said he can't ship any hardware. I had to go to hardware store… fine. He told me the manufacturer is a different company so gave me the number, a small discount, and to call the other company if any issues. OH DID WE HAVE ISSUES! 3. After everything was cemented in and the crazy heavy backboard was fully lifted into the air (we skipped a step so we didn't have extra weight as we didn't have a bunch of manpower helping) We went to connect the rim to the backboard and it is 100% a different rim. The screws on the backboard are 8” apart vs the rim is only 4” apart and the screws are so short they would never fit through the holes even if they did align. *** I called manufacturer (supposedly) and was informed it is infact a Walmart/ugo brand. I called and spent a painful hour of my life dumbfounded by their lack of support. My only option is to take down the whole thing and wait days for it to be picked up and await another shipment in hopes it's correct. I of course can't (it's literally cemented into the ground already) and don't want to take the whole thing down. They said my only other option is to try and find a match but they don't have one and “cannot” just send the correct rim. It has to be a whole system. And they of course won't send the system first so I can't even try to just switch out the backboards and send it back. There's so much more but hopefully you get the idea… it's awful and such a huge stress. My husband is disabled so I had to have help through all this. I can't imagine where I would be if I had paid the 100's of dollars to have a private party company install it and then they can't complete it. This is a huge waste of time and money and Walmart needs to step up and rectify the situation for all of our families!!!

SAME HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AS THE OTHER MOST RECENT REVIEW! Pole is cemented in the ground, went to put the backboard up and it is the wrong backboard. Reordered, sent the wrong backboard again! Customer service can't seem to help me locate the correct backboard so now we are stuck! I'm losing my mind over this one!!! I need the backboard pictured in order to complete my hoop. No help from customer service tracking down the correct backboard! I'm at a loss on what to do now. Here is the pic of the backboard they sent. It doesn't have the crossbar and the rim that comes with the pole does not go on the backboard they sent!!
