Works exactly as it should. Contrary to other reviews, I think its high quality compared to the ones I grew up on. This is PERFECT for Clone Hero on PC. Just make sure you set everything up right and calibrate it; you'll have no issues. Use your brain, this is the best option for the money.
works great on clone hero. can play 5 or 6 fret.. would be nice if the button mapping didnt need to be changed to switch between them tho. thats the only bad thing.. likenfor real very worth the price
If you are using it on clone hero make sure you bind all the setting correctly especially with the strum bar. I thought it was not working until i went in and made sure all the setting were right after that smooth sailing. Buttons are a little sticky but it's brand new I give it a couple weeks and we'll be shredding full combos.
Used on multiple guitar hero games on PS3. Quickly connected and worked flawlessly without any calibration needed. Bought two of these and initially had issues connecting the additional guitar at the sametime (most likely my fault, as I avoided trying to read the microscopic directions). However, it eventually connected. I have not attempted Rockband or Clone hero yet, but highly recommend for guitar hero.
I bought two of the guitars. One is faulty, but i already did a review onthat one. I will leave this review to the working one only. It feels slightly cheap, the plastic has no real weight to it. However, the buttons and strum bar, do have a nice "click" to them. We found no discernable input lag when playing on either the ps3 or the pc. Its a fair value for the cost. I would suggest testing it out when you get it, as the dongles have a 50% working rate for me. When the dingles are function well, they seem to connect quickly and function as they should. If you are trying to just play some rhythm games, without spending too much. This is a fairly good value.
I love them I got them to play Clone Hero and Guitar Hero 2 but the green button didn't work at all so he couldn't use it because that was the main key he needed
guitar is amazing the bluetooth is amazing and it was super easy to setup the only small downside is the 5 color buttons are like a little sticky to click where you have to put more pressure than originally
The guitar is cool, gotta while read all directions while connecting, buttons are responsive for the most part, do feel like a couple inputs were missed at times. Item went $10 dollars cheaper less than week later
I ordered 2 of these guitars, one white and one black. They sat, unopened, for awhile, as i was waiting for my son to get into town to try out with me. One of them, was sime plug and play and everything works. Has a slight cheapish feel, but for the cost, not to shabby. Didnt notice any lag or anything like that, so when they work, they are worth the money (ill be leaving a review for the working one shortly with a much diffdrent rating). However, this one will not sync at all. It wont sync on the ps3 or on the pc. Nothing. The dongle is completely useless. I used the dongle from the working guitar, and it connected fine..so clearly the dongle is at fault. I left it unopned too long to ask for a refund, so i figured, my fault for not testing it before he arrived, ill just get a replacement dongle. Well, those are nowhere to be found. So i have a worthless guitar because the dongle is worthless and i am unable to replace it. That means, through time, when even a nonfaulty dongle goes out, you are stuck with a guitar that you can no longer receive. Why there is no option to get just the dongle is beyond me. Either way, due to that, i highly suggest avoiding the guitar, so that you dont end up in the same predicament. When it works, its a good value, but being unable to replace a part that is imperative of its working, i would just avoid it.
This item was described as a wireless device for Wii console games. It does not work with Wii consoles at all
