NCAA Football 2009 for Wii boasts a respectable 4.25-star average rating, indicating generally positive user experiences. Customers frequently highlight the game's fun factor and ease of play, particularly appreciating features that simplify gameplay for newcomers. While some criticisms exist, the overall sentiment leans towards enjoyment.
While many enjoyed NCAA Football 2009, some negative reviews point to shortcomings. The graphics are frequently criticized as subpar, and the lack of stadium variety is a recurring complaint. Experienced gamers, in particular, may find the game too simplistic or lacking in depth compared to other titles in the franchise.
NCAA Football 2009 on Wii is ideal for casual gamers, families, and younger players looking for a fun and accessible college football experience. Its simplified controls and various game modes make it a great entry point into the genre, but experienced gamers seeking advanced features or realistic graphics might find it lacking.
Verified purchasers largely echoed the positive sentiments, further validating the game's overall appeal. Their reviews consistently highlighted the enjoyable gameplay and ease of use, reinforcing the game's strength in providing a fun and accessible experience for a wide range of players. Even some of the less enthusiastic reviews from verified purchasers still acknowledged the game's entertainment value, suggesting that despite some flaws, most found it worth playing.
NCAA Football 2009 for the Wii offered a unique blend of accessibility and depth for football fans. Unlike some more simulation-heavy football games, this version prioritized intuitive controls tailored to the Wii Remote and Nunchuk, making it easy to pick up and play, even for those unfamiliar with complex football game mechanics. This accessibility, however, didn't sacrifice gameplay depth entirely. The game featured a solid roster of college teams, allowing players to experience the thrill of leading their favorite university to victory. The intuitive controls allowed for quick and satisfying gameplay, focusing on the strategic aspects of the sport rather than overly complex button combinations. This made it a great option for casual gamers and families looking for a fun and engaging sports title, while still offering enough challenge for more experienced players.
Compared to other EA Sports titles on the Wii at the time, NCAA Football 2009 stood out for its focused and streamlined gameplay. While games like Madden NFL offered a more comprehensive, and arguably more realistic, simulation experience, NCAA Football 2009 prioritized a more accessible and fun experience specifically designed for the Wii's motion controls. This made it a distinct choice for those seeking a less demanding, yet still enjoyable, college football experience on the Nintendo console.
Consider purchasing NCAA Football 2009 for the Wii if you're looking for a fun and accessible college football game that utilizes the Wii's motion controls effectively. Keep in mind that the graphics and overall realism might not match the more advanced console versions of the game. This is a great option for casual gamers or families who prefer a simpler, more intuitive sports title. Check online reviews and gameplay videos to see if the game's style aligns with your preferences before purchasing.
What Can I Say This is the best game out for the wii so far and by far the best Ncaa football game The all play features helped me get started and the all play controls very fun and after you do the first season you can recruit coach and win the BCS national championship Pros-Great game, good controls, awesome graphics and cool gameplay cons- NONE!!
When I first got the game I was not impressed, but like any game you have to give it a chance. So I did and then the game started getting better and better. All-Play makes the game simple and awesome but if you like to be in real control (audibles, hot routes, blocking) you will have to turn All-Play off. Your remote and nunchuk will get you interactive in the game. Your Mii fans will also play big roles in your wins or losses, if you make a touchdown and celebrate and get your fans to your side the tide of the game changes and your team will perform better. Pros-Good graphics, very fun, very good mascot games Cons-All-Play (when you can't make audible etc.), no Campus Legend (just Dynasty). Other than that a very good game!
It's great. I love all of the different modes (Dynasty, practice, etc)
our son loves this. He picked it up easily and has already played several games. Controller very easy to use.
I first heard alot of bad reviews for the game,But once i bought it i found it to be a very fun game nice look to the game, and fun to play with the wii remote,so for the college football fan out there i would say give this game a try.
My 11 year old loves to play football and he likes this game very much.
This NCAA 09 by easports game is very good in gameplay maybe better than the others, but if you want to make a team or create a player, it is not an option in this game.
I am a big fan of the NCAA football games. When I got my Wii I decided to buy this game. It was a disaster from the beginning. The stadiums were not even the same as the real thing. The graphics were horrible and the game play was not very good. I thought the gameplay experience on the PS2 was much better than this one. They need to improve this game a lot better if Nintendo expects me to buy it again. I traded it in within the first week and bought Madden which is a lot better for Wii.
It was a good idea for the Nintendo Wii, however I would recommend renting this before buying it. If you dont mind the generic stadiums as well as poor graphics during gameplay its alright for the money. Hopefully the creators will go back to the drawing board if they plan on releasing another college football game.
This much hyped game is a huge dissapointment. A generic stadium is loaded for every team, the graphics are poor, and there aren't many options for the game control. Don't buy this! If you rent it first you will see what I mean. I pulled out Madden 07 to play this game, and it was a big step down in graphics and fun. Anyhow, I was really pumped up about getting this, so do yourself a favor and get something else before you too are extremely dissapointed.
