not sure what others are talking about the magnet not holding the units weight. I use the magnet on bottom to mount during use at work with no issues
So far so good. Super bright. Battery life is amazing. Strong magnets. Seems to be well made.
Absolutely Amazing!!
Just got this for Christmas and it is perfect! The clip for when your hands are full. Magnetic connections when you want to prop it up. With a built in power bank! This is beyond perfect especially because the light is actually bright. One heck of a product!!!
So after playing with the flashlight for a while I realized that you can turn it off directly with one more press if the flashlight has been turned on for like 10 seconds. If it's been less than that you have to cycle through the different settings to reach the off setting which is a real pain in the neck. The instruction manual doesn't tell you that this is hiw it works... That if the light is turned on for like 10 seconds then you just press the button one more time to turn it off. It should say this in the manual. So I'm changing my one-star review to a much better review. I still think like the older version of the regular slim you should be able to turn it off immediately after you turn it on instead of cycling through the different settings but at least now I know that if you have it turned on for a while then you can press the button one more time just to turn it off. Maybe in a future version this could be explained in the instruction manual or maybe it could be like the old version where you just turn it on and turn it off with the same button instantaneously. If you could turn it on and off instantly without waiting for a while I would up it to a five-star rating.
This is an excellent flashlight to have on hand, BUT: the on/off button is made of soft rubber that can degrade to the point that the switch it operates can no longer be pressed. My specific experience is this: I had a Slim+1200 which I used nightly for a few weeks. Then I stored it in a cool, dry place for about a year. When I took it back out, it recharged well, but every time I pressed the on/off switch, the internal structure seemed to slip farther and farther into the body of the flashlight until pressing the rubber button no longer turned the flashlight on or off. Since the item became unusable and was without warranty, I tried to press the button with a blunt phillips screwdriver and WAS able to do so. When this became too difficult, I unscrewed all possible screws on the unit in order to see whether there was a way to reach the internal structure of the switch -- there is not. I suppose I could use the unit a few more times by carrying around a blunt screwdriver. It has become unusable in less than two years. The failure was structural, not electronic.
It's a nice light, i like that it has the red light that my old slim+ doesnt. The one major fall back is the pocket clip. Its straight garbage. They need to go back to the old spring loaded clip style that is on the Slim+ 700. It holds 100000x better. This one will slip out of a pocket shirt of off the top of waders when you bend over because the clip doesn't press down like it should.
I have the old model and I absolutely love it and I figured I would upgrade to the new model. The old model you would press wants to turn it on and press a second time to turn it off. While it was on you could press it again and hold it to dim it or brighten it. With this new model you press it wants to turn on and there's no way to directly turn it off. You have to sit there pressing the button over and over again to cycle through the different modes to reach the "off" mode. When you come out with a new model it's supposed to be an improvement instead of a downgrade. They really fumbled the ball on this because it is a serious pain in the neck to sit there pressing it over and over and over again just to get it to turn off. If it wasn't for that I would give it five stars instead of one. Please do better if you make a newer model. Please take this into consideration because this model is horrible now
I purchased this light just after Christmas and was pretty happy with performance but after only 2 charges, the light will no longer charge. This light hasn't seen a lot of use and has not been abused and kept in my work coat so if this is the future of this brands products, I'll shop elsewhere.
I got this nebo slim+1200 camo. Got it charged it up and turned it on. It only lasts 4 seconds and turn off working on anything is very annoying to keep hitting the button to turn back on. Its totally unusable. Please help.
