The little Necco candies are very tasty in that they are not overly sweet and are flavored with different flavors. Very good for anyone wanting a little sweet to snack on and not overly sweet. See Walmart shopping page for how they look with different colors: white, brown, pink, yellow.
Thank goodness they did not change anything except FDA required food dye update. Perfect when I first had these as a kid, same when my daughters were young, now my grand daughters can enjoy them. If it isn't broken, don't try to fix it. There is a reason they have been around for so long. They are not trendy or try to be everything- to everyone. Just simple, non-messy, light sweets even very young kids can enjoy. My daughters had very different tastes; so they would sit quietly sorting and trading these. They did not realize they were learning to do something, a lot of adults still can't achieve. These have been used as a stand in for penny poker chips, Monopoly game tokens, checkers. Grandpa had so much fun trying to teach chess with the colored disks. My 3 year old learned her colors and flavors from there.
I've loved Necco Wafers since I was a little kid and as a senior I still do. My only wish is that they would also make rolls of just the chocolate flavor ones, my favorite flavor! But, also rolls of each of the other flavors individually, too. Pleeeeeease🙏
I hadn't had these candies in years and they are every bit as good as I remember. Necco is such a fun afternoon treat if you need something sweet and crunchy. I had forgotten they were all different flavors and I'm having fun making my way through each one. Orange is my favorite!
I have been eating these since I was a little girl. I love how it “takes me back”. There are so many different flavors. Necco Wafers are a classic with classic flavors!
NECCO WAFERS? Wonderful! Need I say more?? This is the BEST candy ever! All these wafers are the best flavors, too. (MY favorite is the purple one. Try it! The chocolate one is very good, too.)
NECCO wafers are a part of my childhood, I used to get the fruity, crunchy wafers and my dad got the black ones, me, not a fan. The pink wafers remind me of pesto Bismillah, love them. I have always enjoyed NECCO wafers, I just wish they would change their packaging. The wax wrapper doesn't stop breakage and the ends are never sealed, just a thought. Either way I will continue to enjoy all of them except the black licorice wafers, my husband can have those.
As a WalMart member I order groceries at least once a month. This is the third time I ordered the Necco Wafers and they have been delivered damaged. I can only attribute this to mishandling by either the picker/packer or the delivery person. I have bought them in-store myself several times and the product was fine/undamaged.
I have always loved these candy wafers, but my last few orders they have all been only white (wintergreen flavor), pink, (pepto bismal taste) and black, (licorice) 🤮 what happened to the coloful flavors?
My reason for the low rating score is, the candy was open and some spilled in the bag. Whether by accident or whatever, they want me to return it in store. I would not have ordered online if I wanted to go in the store.
