Nelsonic OPP LED Clock Radio with Digital Tuner

I recently bought this clock radio and starting using it for my alarm instead of my phone. I enjoy waking up to music instead of a beeping sound. I also like the preset buttons that you can change stations. The two alarm settings work great for me and my husband since we get up at different times.

Although I may keep the clock they sent (LED is RED not BLUE as pictured!!), rest assured IT IS NOT what IS pictured here. The cons are that the mechanisms by which you set the radio, listen to the radio, and administer the alarm(s) are really really poor. The pros are that the LED display is BIG and it's bright (which is what I was looking for anyway)

The diredtions that came with this product are un-clear and in-complete. I have tried just about every thing I can think of to get this product to work. I have called the 800 number that they gave me three times and never got a return call. I would not recommend that anybody buy any thing this company offers. I will have to get another radio if I want to have an alarm radio that works. I will not be getting on from Walmart as no one there knows how to work this radio either. I would recomend that you don't purchase Nelsonic products as they do not reurn their calls. i

This clock radio sucks!! The instructions are horrible and it doesn't work. The alarm goes off at the wrong time even though we set at the right time. If I had the box still I definitely return it.

I have to keep the directions taped to this annoying product or it would be unusable. A couple decades ago a simple standardized way to set digital clocks was established but this Nelsonic product is absurdly complicated to use. I travel a lot and the alarm clocks in hotels are easy to use, with no directions. BUT if you take one look at the buttons on this clock you realize you have wasted your money. It makes no sense. I was in the market for a simple alarm clock, I didn't want to learn computer programming. A disgraceful product.

I got the clock radio as a birthday present, so I have had it for about 9 months. It has been aggravating since day 1. Setting the time, radio stations and alarms is not easy to do. For some reason the buttons seem to have a mind of their own. For example you try to turn the volume up and instead it sets the automatic turn off for 90 minutes. Then there are times you try to turn the radio on and it starts flashing PO1 and PO2 and then resets the radio station to the lowest one on the dial, which means you then have to reset it to the station that you want. My absolute favorite is when you press the snooze button and it starts flashing with 18:88 in the display and the alarm wont go off. You have to just keep pressing all the buttons you can think of in the hopes that it will eventually stop. When this happens, which is often, most of the time I have to unplug it and start setting it all over again. Now the button to set the minutes on the clock does not seem to want to work. I have owned a lot of alarm clocks in my life but I have to say this is the worst one that I have ever had. It is unreliable and probably the most difficult one to operate that I have ever had. It has reached the point that I am going to have to go and buy a new clock radio so I have one that actually works the way is is supposed to work.

I've attached a picture with this review. I bought this clock yesterday, so it made it a full 24 hours before self-terminating. First, the blue LED display is BRIGHT! There is a button provided to dim it, but even when dimmed it's blazing in the darkness. So bright, in fact, that I had to put a sock in front of the display so I could sleep properly. Secondly, the radio is poor quality. Thirdly, the clock stopped working on the second day of use. I purchased a new nightstand so when I unplugged the alarm clock to relocate it, it wouldn't work again. I checked the outlet using other appliances and they worked fine, so it was the clock that broke. =( The clock looks great: sleek, modern, and stylish but the quality is terrible. Save your money ($20?!) and spend it on a quality piece. BLECK!!

While the alarm and clock functionality have been fine, the radio functionality (the whole purpose of getting a clock radio instead of just a clock) is horrible. The biggest issue is the speaker. It is set up as a stereo speaker in spite of the fact there is only one. As a result, songs on the radio are distorted because it is giving only half the sound. Basically, if the song has some instruments/voices in one speaker and others in the right speaker, you only hear the left speaker. Add to that, the volume control discrimination is too wide - the radio at night is either too loud (volume 1) or silent (volume 0). The buttons are also poorly designed. Avoid this product.

couldn't get it set the alarm for just one day and then shut off. Couldn't figure out how to set the radio stations & just listen to them without the alarm being set. Terrible to set - I gave up & gave it to Goodwill!
