NeoHealth Lumbar Support Belt, 2XL, Black

I have a herniated disc plus arthritis in my lower spine. Sometimes just standing at the stove cooking a meal causes me great pain. I practically live on my sofa. My doctor does not prescribe pain meds because I also have COPD which is a heart/lung ailment and she does not want me to get addicted to opioids. So when I got this belt today, I put it right on. Wow, I could actually do chores around my house without pain. I moved a recliner that had not been moved in about 5 years and cleaned under it. I have a 42 inch waist and the 3X size was comfortable to wear.

I thought I would give this a try since my back has been hurting any time I am standing. I was pleasantly surprised that this belt actually helped when the only relief I have had before was when I had medical intervention. The only thing I had a problem with is that I tightened the belt, causing my belly fat to squash down, giving me a rash. I now have to make sure that I smooth the skin out after tightening the belt. It looks kind of weird but my back feels much better. The tighter I wear it, the better.

Being over weight, I deal with back pain more and more. I got this because of it's size and it fits. Gotta be careful putting it on and make sure no one is around you with their face inline with the brace just in case your hand slips and the band snaps back around. Don't want to take an eye out! I like this one as it's not so tall it affects sitting down or driving. It's very adjustable and if you're big like me, get the 4xl as you can snug it down pretty good, but there's enough to go around someone with a 50" to 52" waist. I found I could mow the entire yard with it on instead of having to take a break 2 or 3 times without it.

This support belt is a good fit - it is well made and my only recommendation would be --do what they say ---Measure yours or who you are buying for AROUND the LARGEST PART of waist at bellybutton - that will give you what you need to look at their SIZE CHART and decide what size is best - but make sure you go with size it says - not smaller -or you will not have enough to lock in place and move comfortably; very pleased with this for my husband and giving him support needed as he has back issues and does not lift properly with his LEGS NOT HIS BACK!

Supports the lower back with what I will call a comfortable strength. Strong support with boning that really relieved a lot of pain right away. Adjusts very easily. This was so comfortable I wore it all day.

The fit is good. It feels well made. I bought 2 XL because these tend to run small. However not the case here. It's a little bigger than I wanted, but true to size.

Gives you the support needed in a soft comfortable way

this back braceisnt prime for a severly obese ot obese person. i hate hiw it fits on me. i am in the process of loosing weight so im trying believe you me. like i tried it over clothes and on. bare skin and dont like ot either way. when tightened it made my back hurt worse and thwn once i took ot off after several hours my back cintinued to hurt where as before this brace it wasnt hurting at all. ill try again once i come down with some more weight loss otjerwise its a total no for me.
