Neosporin is my absolute go to whenever my kids or I have an accident, scrape, injury, or scratch. It helps prevent infection from occurring and soothes the discomfort. I used minimal amount on the cut. The only skin action I had was healing . I always keep a tube in my first aid kit and a tube on the stand next to me for easy and quick access.
