This was a new product for us sour candy lovers so I had to get it for the family to try. Seeing different colors of candy corn (green, purple, orange, red, blue) was a bit off, but the taste was amazing! The sour apple and cherry were our favorites but the raspberry , orange and grape were good too. This was a fun Halloween/Fall treat for us and we really were impressed with the classic yummy Jolly Rancher tart taste being captured in this form. It isn't messy and doesn't pose the risk of damaging dental work that the original did. Try them out!
Much better than normal candy corn, that's for sure. The flavors taste just like the Nerds we all know and love, just in a larger, less crunchy form. Grab some if they're still around or if they return for Halloween.
I really loved this candy and it's a shame that it was for only Halloween season! My coworkers loved this candy. Definitely couldn't tell it was candy corn. You couldn't just eat one. I was buying 2 or 3 bags a week. Please bring this candy back.
If you like Nerd candy, you'll enjoy these. I like the softer texture of this candy better than the crunchy, hard Nerds candy. This candy has a texture similar to soft candy corn but with a little bit more chewiness. It has a sweet, mildly tart taste--not sour. We love them.
I"m addicted to these little things, Nerds Halloween Candy Corn, Rainbow-Shelled Nerds-Flavored Mellowcreme, 8 oz. are tasty little cubes of sugar it seems haha, considering the ingredients, however they're not that bad and sometimes I cannot put them down and end up eating half a bag. should make mini bags of these for halloween or for kids lunch boxes.should be a year around product as well as their made.
These have become a new favorite in the household. I loved them so much that I told my best friend about them and she wanted some so I had two bags delivered—her diabetic mother tried them and is allowing herself five a day because she likes them so much when she seldom ever eats candy in general lol
These are so scrumptious. A pet sitting client of mine left these out for guests, and I tried a few. I went back to that bowl so many times that I now owe her a new bag of these (of my own accord), I just couldn't figure out what they were! I haven't shopped at Trader Joe's yet (where she gets the most wonderful gifts for me) but was lucky enough to snag them at Walmart after recognizing the candy pieces in the description. These are perfect for a sugarholic like me. Sweet, tangy, sour. Each piece tastes different than the last, even when you don't switch colors. Great for distractions or "fixing" a sweet-tooth moment. You can still set the bag down, and you may have to if you graze without realizing it. There is such a thing as sugar overload and these will give it to me after about 1/2 a bag so I'm glad there's a stopping point built in 😅.
This is a cheap candy with numerous artificial ingredients, designed to overwhelm the taste buds, so that you can't describe just how bad the flavoring is.
I'm a candy corn fan so I was excited to try these. First, they are not candy corn like at all in shape or texture. The flavor is good, they are more tart than sweet. They almost just disappear in your mouth when you're chewing them which is a fun little surprise. Definitely worth a try if you are a Nerds or sour candy fan. If you're looking for a new candy corn, skip these as you will be disappointed. That being said, the bag is half empty. (See photo) I understand they are packaged by weight, but Nerds should maybe consider a different packaging where it's not totally obvious you have barely any candy inside.
I'd like to issue an arrest warrant for this crime against my mouth. Not only is the texture weird on these, the taste is abominable. I guess I was hoping for something a little more Nerd-like. Nope. The exterior is a little firmer than the inside but the combination of multiple flavors in one candy was quite offensive. I did keep trying them to see if they got any better. Nope, they didn't get any better the closer to the bottom of the bag I got. If you have these in your cart, remove them. If you think you need these in your life…no, you really don't.
