Our cat really likes this product--especially the laser pointer. The laser pointer works well, and what I really like about it, is the fact that it takes standard everyday batteries you can find anywhere. It also shoots discs, which the cat loves, and no batteries are necessary for that. So even if the batteries go out, you can still fire off these catnip infused discs, which your cat will absolutely love to chase. It's a great buy and your cat will love it!
This is the Nerf Cat Catnip Blaster with 3 Disc, this requires 2 - AA batteries, use a screw driver to remove battery cover, place 2 AA batteries, place cover back, tighten the battery cover screws up with the screw driver. Open the lid, add the discs, close the lid, Aim , pull the trigger and let the fun begin, my cats loved this so much. I would recommend this Nerf Cat Catnip Blaster with 3 Discs for anyone with cats.
We got the Nerf cat catnip disc treat blaster cat toy with three catnip discs for our five indoor cats. At first I didn't think the discs were real catnip because there seem like they're just hard plastic but apparently they had a smell on them that was catnip because our cats went crazy over them. They're not edible though so that was a little strange but all in all the kittens love chasing after him when our daughter would shoot them out of the gun. Definitely recommend!
This is definitely Rocky's new favorite toy. He plays with it every morning before he eats. This is a catnip disc blaster that also has a laser light. There are two triggers. The bottom one activates the laser light while the top one shoots the catnip disc. There are three catnip disc included. They go into the clear tube at the top and will fly about 15 feet. Rocky chases them then drops down to roll on them and bat them around. The blaster does require two AAA batteries that are not included. It requires a small screwdriver like the one used for eyeglasses to open the battery case. The laser light is a larger round red circle and Rocky will chase it all over. This is definitely a great cat toy with the best of everything, laser light, catnip and flying disc. It is very easy to use and entertaining. I highly recommend it to anyone with a kitty that loves to play. Rocky loves this and will play for a while, eat then play some more. Just make sure not to aim the disc at your pet, any person or any breakable items.
I was happy to receive this Nerf Cat Catnip Blaster with 3 discs, in return for review. The directions were easy. You need a tiny Phillips screwdriver to be able to insert the batteries. This blaster does not include batteries. The blaster gun itself is very durable and easy to load with the catnip discs. My cats were very interested in watching the gun and running to see where the discs landed. They weren't much interested in the disc after it was on the ground. They usually like catnip. The instructions on the back of the packaging were very clear. The cats did like the red laser light. They followed that around like crazy. Even the girl cat that usually doesn't play, chased the laser for about an hour. I was happy because she is a little too fat, and desperately needs exercise. The older cat liked it too. I worry about him too not getting exercise. I want to keep him active, to prevent muscle waste. Cats are hard to understand. You never know what they will like.
This was fun and easy to use. The scent from the discs could have been stronger, my cat was not particularly excited to track them even after smelling the launcher ahead of time. I thought the added laser was a bit silly but still a nice add on. The launcher clearly had room for more than three discs, so, it was kind of odd that it only came with three. Overall, it was a good product I do not regret getting, but it would have been nicer if there had been more discs and the discs had had a more intriguing scent for my cat. It would have worked better if the scent was so strong, he was excited for it to be used before anything was launched from it and was looking forward to seeing what delightful thing was going to happen next.
in all honesty, i wouldnt buy this, i would buy a regular nerf gun. the discs for it get stuck and you cant even shoot them without holding it at the right angle
I was super excited to try this out. I have two adult cats who are still active and love to play. I thought the disks were like pressed catnip that they could eat. I'm still not sure if they can eat them because they feel like hard plastic but smell like catnip. To shoot the disks out, you have to have the gun straight or the disks will get stuck. The laser isn't like a laser point and doesn't have a long range before it gets blurry. My cats were not interested at all.
I got the Nerf catnip blaster with 3 discs for our cats. I liked the idea that it also had a laser pointer. The laser pointer is good close up (see picture), meaning fairly big. But if you move it further away from you it just fades away and is barely noticeable. If you are trying to shoot the catnip discs I would suggest you tip the blaster slightly up so there is less of a chance that you hit your cat(s). I also learned the best way to shoot the discs to pull the trigger very, very slowly. If you don't the disc will jam in between the loading cylinder and gun.
this item for having the NERF name is junk. 1. You supply the batteries. 2. the catnip disc don't fly worth anything!!
