Absolutely fire
I bought this out of random we seen it in the clearance aisle and my son really wanted it when I first opened the package it was easy to take out I definitely wanted to try out the Nerf gun before I gave it to my son so I put it together and tried shooting it but it didn't work at first because I didn't read the instructions however with some finessing I managed to figure it out. This Nerf gun shoots really far and it does hurt just a tad however my boys really love playing with these Nerf guns and really do enjoy them they thought it was so cool how they had to push in the barrel to shoot it definitely a good buy and if I had the option I would buy it again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nerf Rival Curve Shot Flex XXI-100 provides hours of fun and entertainment in an epic Nerf War. With a quick twist of the front nozzle, you can aim around corners conspicuously. This nerf gun comes with balls rather than the Styrofoam pellets. This is a powerful projectile toy with a lot more "oomph" if you will.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nerf Rival Curve Shot gun is pretty cool. It isn't your typical foam bullets but instead is soft balls. You can curve your shot by twisting the end of the gun. It can go left, right, straight, or down. It comes with five rounds but it will hold eight. This gun is a lot of fun and I would recommend it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my 6 year olds birthday. She's in love with it. She loves how fast they shoot out! I wish it came with more balls that's the only down fall. There is a safety button on it so that's nice. It won't shoot unless the safety is off.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Nerf Rival Curve Shot a couple days ago. It's made really well, to last a long time. It comes with 5 balls that can either shoot out straight, or around a corner. Grandson loves it!! Will definitely get another one, so we can both play.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided to see what the "Rival" was about so we acquired one. It comes with 5 small yellow balls that fit in the holder. My child does have issue pulling down the lever to use again and so did it. It is a four step process to put each ball. The power the balls come out is strong and they fly. To turn the direction, you turn the end. We have lost one since we were unable to see where it went, Maybe find it tomorrow.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves all things Nerf and couldn't wait to get his hands on this new gun. The commercials make it look like you can shoot around corners like a ninja. Well, the angles are awesome but not quite what was expected. They can't really shoot around corners. The impact is intense though.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately the Nerf gun that I received was broken so I'm not sure about this one yet. The priming handle did not stay in place when pulled down. The breech would open but the handle would go right back up. The other problem was that the trigger was stuck. It was like it just stayed locked even after unlocking it so I never got to actually shoot the gun , sadly. A couple of things that I did like about the Nerf Rival Curve Shot Flex XXI-100 was that after loading the muzzle was easily turned to the position you wanted and pushed back in. I also thought it was pretty great how well the balls stay in the ball storage for easy access but are stil easy to remove when needed.
This nerf gun is probably the worst one ever produced in the Rival line. It makes absolutely no sense because they have already produced a Rival gun with similar mechanics so I have no idea how they screwed this up. The priming plunger does not catch making it impossible to load. The only way I was able to get the priming plunger to catch was by turning the safety on and off. Even then, it would half fire with the round getting stuck in a barrel. It is absolutely junk. Many of the online review videos are reporting the same problem.
