I bought one to work with the original nintendo. This controller works like a dream. I was a bit worried as the other reviwers gave it bad marks. I think they're salty that they bought the wrong controller thinking it would work on the NES mini. This controller is a perfect replacement for the 1985 NES console.

Don t Buy from this company . It was broke on arrival . the controller sticks and does what it wants to. it is impossible to play any games . iam sending it back.

Cheap
I got two of these controllers, pretty disappointed. On one of them, the right direction pad is hard to push, on the other, the down direction doesn't work well when pressed... I'm going to pay a little more and just buy an original controller off ebay or something.

Does not have the HDMI connection
I thought this controller would have the modern HDMI connector, but it came with the original VGA connector; therefore, I could not use it. The NES game console does not have a VGA input.

I would NEVER do business with this company
Ordered one of these for my OLD Nintendo console (1985 edition). Walmart contracts out with a 3rd. party contractor Video Game Advantage. The controller arrived 4 days after I placed the order, hooked it up to my console, and even though it has the 7 prong adapter as required it does not seem secure in the female jack. It works somewhat, but I was unable to control the game so it is worthless to me. Tried to deal with Video Game Advantage, FORGET it. They wanted me to take the controller to the Post Office and pay 1st. Class Postage to send it back. We are talking about an $8.00 item and Video Game Advantage showed the personality of a wet sponge. Fortunately, I had paid with my credit card and when I disputed the charge, Walmart showed some class and refunded my purchase price. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS COMPANY!
