Nespresso by De'Longhi Pixie Single-Serve Espresso Machine with Simplified Water Tank in Aluminum and Aeroccino Milk Frother in Black

I am reviewing an old Pixie. Mine works like a charm. I find that some of the capsules can get stuck and explode. After about 9 years this started happening so it has nothing to do with me. I use only the short button for espresso and the long for running the rest of the water through to clean after use. I have descaled from time to time. Getting back to the water-I refrigerate the tank half full each night then have two or three capsules in the morning. Repeat. Parts can wear out of course. But this is the only machine that takes time to heat the water. This is all key to a good short espresso using the stronger capsules. The smaller machines I've had and used are not as good.

Used the Nespresso Pixie for years and it still works like a charm. The machine is sturdy, it is working the same as day one. Its compact size is a plus, especially if you don't have much space on your countertop. The Nespresso is so easy to use with a short heating time.It pours you the best Nespresso cup you can get. If you like coffee it's the best investment you can do.

The Nespresso Pixie has been a daily essential in my kitchen for 2 years now, and it's still working perfectly. The coffee always tastes great and consistent — no matter the time of day. I have had this wonderful machine for 5 years! It's a wonderful gem. Easy to operate —no fancy weird things to deal with and the coffee comes out delish!! This little gem is the best! We also have the stainless steel Aerochimo which makes EXCELLENT frothy foam to add to your cup.

Love my pixie machine. I use it everyday. Makes good espresso with a nice cream on top and hot. Brew quickly and easy to use. Just a push of a button. Small enough to fit in tight places. Doesn't take over the counter as nd easy to pick up and clean.

Nespresso, please look at your reviews!! Whoever redesigned the new Pixie machine really blew it!! I've had my old one for 12 years and have loved it every day. I recently bought the new one as a back-up since I realized the old one won't work forever. There is no On/Off button and it's hard to make sure the machine is off. If you try to turn it off, it just leaks coffee! The water tank is cheap plastic and doesn't attach easily to the machine. The cover feels like it will break if I push it too hard. The machine leaks and I can't tell if it's really working. Please bring back the old one. I have been a loyal customer for many years and will now have to look for a different coffee company!!! Shame on you!!

I am so unhappy with this new model. They took away the power button and the light for low water and call them upgrades. I constantly have water come out into my fresh shot when I'm trying to shut the machine off. Also I sometimes run out of water in the middle of a shot because the water is out. This machine is a huge downgrade to the old model I had for almost 10 years.

After two yeark te oring gasket needs replacement but Nespresso would not do it. You are basically signing up to replace the machine full price (or small discount every 2 years) with all the concerns in terms of cost and sustainability!

The water container's prongs that hold it in place AND the lid have broken over time. NO WAY TO BUY A REPLACEMENT.Am I supposed to to throw away a perfectly working making due to lack of parts?

The redesign is a cheap version. I have had Pixie machines over 20 years. New re-design has no low water alert, is more black plastic instead of chrome, has no ON/Off but you press both coffee fill buttons at same time to turn off (so if you miss and just hit one, all of a sudden coffee is coming out all over your counter.) Nespresso saves money while turniong off customer!!
