If you are looking for simple great coffee without all the bells, this is a great machine. Easy to use providing a great espresso in less then two minutes.
The CitiZ Espresso machine by DeLonghi is an amazing little powerhouse! though to be honest it's ALL about the pods used and the amount of water in each cup. I've purchased TWO of these machines, one for home and one for the office. VERY happy! :)
The Nespresso CitiZ is the perfect machine for espresso lovers who value both style and efficiency. The setup was incredibly quick, and the operation is as simple as it gets. I love how fast it produces heat, so there's no waiting around in the morning. Despite its slim size, which is great for saving counter space, it delivers amazing consistency in every shot. A sleek and reliable machine for a perfect daily coffee routine!
I've owned CitiZ's for over 15 years. I purchased this one several years ago and still looks as new as the day I purchased. The Chrome is beautiful and zero signs of wear with daily use. The espresso is hot with a nice cream, and there are countless flavors to choose from to find your favorites. The machine comes apart easily to clean. The instructions say that they're dishwasher safe but I'd take the couple minutes to hand wash to keep it pristine. This particular machines uses the original pods which are less expensive than the Virtuo line pods. If you're an espresso drinker, the CitiZ machine itself has higher upfront cost, but with daily use, ends up being less expensive in the long run. Don't skip the descaling and the one will last you a long time.
Item is of good quality - for plastic, was thinking it would have been metal like my KitchenAid pod machine, especially since it was $200 ish. Glad I purchased the extended 3 yr warranty now. Brews fast, easy to use, works with Nespresso and compatible pods. Size is compact, fits on the counter with ease. Made by Di'Longhi so it should last a good while. Hoping it will be easy to clean, haven't had it long enough to have to descale, etc.
I bought all of the Nespresso pods, but I don't have the machine, the person who was going to sell me the machine ended up, backing out and not selling it. But I can tell you by the way, the coffee smells and how compact the packets come that machine must work really well. Also, these machines do not come cheap.
The machine works as expected. But it gave me the impression of receiving a recycled or previously returned item. Packaging inside the standard DeLonghi box was definitely not what you would expect from a new item (no protective filming or bags or paper, etc.) Also the external box was cheap and damaged. Luckily the machine was not, but I will think twice before I buy from Walmart again. I will keep using this machine for the next few days to make sure it works well, otherwise I will return it.
Had an older pixie made in Switzerland, worked great for 10 years, then began leaking. New one problematic, does not descale properly, etc.
Walmart sent me a customer returned product. The machine is not working properly. I find it more noisy than my previous Citiz machines and it takes several tries to make the machine work sometimes. Water doesnt get hot as it suppose to. Im returning this.
the prooduct is malfunctioning
