Nespresso Vertuo Coffee and Espresso Machine by De'Longhi, Silver

After returning to the place of purchase a Vertuo Next machine after several weeks of use due to constant underneath leaking, we decided to purchase a Vertuo Evoluo. Have had this machine for a couple of weeks and so far absolutely love it. No leaking, it's made very well with a thicker and hopefully more durable water tank and makes delicious coffee. Fingers crossed we love this machine and coffee for years to come!

Very quiet

After starting with this model and having newer variations over the years I went back to basics with this first Evoluo. So happy either way it. Compared to the newer models which are made in China and various other locations this model is made in Switzerland. The quality is amazing. Considerably quieter and great coffee quality. The water tank is larger as is the receptacle for used capsules. Love it.

I've had this machine for 10 years.. that should tell you a lot. I clean it and service it regularly and it just keeps on going..producing great espresso and coffee. .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a huge fan of Nespresso products. I bought a second vertuo so I could keep one at home and one at the office. A good cup of coffee makes all the difference during the day.

It makes good coffee, however, it is not hot enough for me. Comes out a little more than luke warm. I don't want scalding hot but not luke warm either.

The issue I have with all of these machines is that the water temp is NOT HOT ENOUGH. I must heat up my cream first and after the coffee is made, I throw that in the microwave for another 30 seconds. Can't you make these machines heat the water to at least 190°? PLEASE 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Coffee is terrific! Little shelf for holding the cup is HORRIBLE. I've lost 3 beautiful Porthault coffee cups to this thing. When the shelf fits into the machine, it's not completely level. It angles slightly away from the machine and relies on gravity to stay in place, so as the cup gets full and the vibration from the machine gently shakes it causing it to shimmy away from the machine, the shelf dumps over sending coffee and cup crashing to the floor. With all the engineering that is going into creating great coffee, they somehow overlooked this rather basic design flaw. I now have to hold the cup in place to ensure I get a cup of coffee and don't spend more time picking up shards of porcelain and a lot of hot coffee from my floor. (My kitchen has a wood floor, by the way, so fairly forgiving, but no match for dropping a cup from counter height. Yes, I can use cheap, sturdy mugs, but I'm still cleaning up a lot of hot coffee so this is not a solution.)

We got this as a wedding gift less than 2 years ago. We've had problems with it several times and it now has completely stopped working.
