Nest E Smart Thermostat, No Hub Required

I have a boiler with two wires from each zone controller. This thermostat works perfectly and exactly what I needed.

Love this thermostat. I bought it because I needed a thermostat for heat only. It was easy to set up with the app and the cost was reasonable.

Simple to install, simple to use. Check with your utility company for possible rebates, $100 for us!

Quick and easy installation. No C wire required. Linking to Wi-Fi and installing the App went smooth. Linked to our Google Home App and can control using voice commands. Programming the schedule was easy enough once you figure out the matrix. Works well with our forced air electric furnace.

I do not have the C-wire and was worried this thermostat would not work. But to my surprise it is working perfect! Unlike the regular Nest thermostat.

Good product

I like the Google nest e thermostat, but it wasn't as simple to setup or power up. I wired it to a power converter for power but when I plugged it in to the base it would not power up. I plugged my phone charger into it and after a while it powered up and has worked since . Nowhere does it say to charge it before plugging it into base

Product was not compatible with Nest or Google Home. This was an older model that doesn't receive Nest support anymore.

the one I received was manufactured in Jan 2024, so it was on a shelf for over 2 years before I received it as new, so the Google warranty had expired before it was sold. It would not hold a charge probably because the internal battery went bad. Walmart was good about refunding.
