I love chocolate...... I usually buy the 60 cocoa but these were just a 8 % less cocoa and the price difference was a huge. That said my family tasted these and said that they would prefers them over my favorite. So I guess I will use these for their cookies and snacks and my favorite for my snacking on. We have always made all of our sweet treats with about 40% or less of what any recipe asks for in sugar, so I will let them splurge a bit.
These may cost a bit more, but YOOOO these are true DARK CHOCOLATE! Delicious. I added half to a devil's food cake and topped it with Kool Whip and the rest of the chips. Refrigerated it. The dark chocolate made this DIVINE CAKE HEAVEN! They will put you in the chocolate fix zone with their quality dark chocolate taste. IT's worth the switch when baking with chocolate chips. Highly recommend this step up to the top in chocolate flavor!
These are my favorite chocolate chips! You can use them for just about anything. They have the perfect balance of sweetness — not too bitter and not overly sweet. Definitely my go-to dark chocolate chips. Plus, the value size at Walmart is a great price for how much you get.
The best and affordable, dark chocolate chip chips out there. Real dark chocolate, and great taste, without that cheap bitter taste. Really good for baking, great for snacking as well.
I love to eat these two or three at a time as my dark chocolate treat. They keep my chocolate cravings satisfied while providing fewer calories than indulging in a chocolate bar or other large piece of candy. They are also great in cookies, brownies and pancakes. Nestle is a high quality chocolate brand without the high price!
These dark chocolate chips are fantastic. They melt easily, add a tablespoon of coconut oil or butter, melt in the microwave and voilà! Makes ia fantastic frosting or drizzle and it hardens as it cools. My favorite is for the liquid chocolate over coconut popsicles, does not get any better than that.
Best tasting chocolate in America! Germany has some great chocolate as well as Belgium, but our chocolate here in America has lost the rich and creamy taste that it had as before EXCEPT Nestle has continued with its quality of chocolate. I compared other chocolate baking chips with Nestle and they just do not compare in my opinion. Try for yourself, love to hear your opinions.
If you're planning to bake chocolate chip cookies, then don't make the mistake of getting a generic brand; either buy Nestle's, Hershey's, or another top name brand.
I use the recipe on the package. yet use all brown sugar . I spread dough in the cookiesheet lined with parchment paper.. I saved the pkg that had that recipe. they also melt easily for the marshmallow fudge I prefer the dark chocolate over milk chocolate.. I prefer to add walnuts as my sister is allergic to pecans which I sometimes use . I have switched from making large 8 to a sheet for kids and service lunch at auctions to 16 small cookies per sheet. I've baked for 75 years..started when I was 10
I don't appreciate when any standard staple brand name company such as Nestle Toll House is using an ingredient derived from bioengineered source. Thus genetically altering their morsels and they way they set up at room temperature and this label is barely visible or legible. On a small printed portion on their product will they be informing you of this change in their recipe making process. So nobody knows unless they read the entire package.
