Great switch with loads of potential. Love the cloud managed insight feature. Highly recommend a switch for business applications needing POE. I am using two in a business environment. One is running the computer network with POE access points. The other is handling their VoIP telephone system.

I recently bought a GS728TPv2 for a home network setup. I had looked a Ubiquiti but was so pleased with previous NETGEAR products and the look and feel offered by the insight app that I decided to give this unit a try. It has performed flawlessly for streaming multiple AppleTV 4K devices and has reduced the strain on our home WiFi. Plus you can't beat the lifetime warranty and service offered with the unit. Setup was easy, and the insight app has already notified me of firmware updates, which is nice know that the ongoing support is being rolled out to end users.

Purchased a switch so I could have my Desktop and Laptops on a hard line to the network. Worked flawlessly. Highly recommend this equipment for business and personal use.

We have over 100 of these devices deployed throughout our organization. They are easy to configure, deploy, and maintain. I would recommend them highly.

This is a very nice and seems like a solid built switch. I was able to integrate it with other branded switches. The only thing I wish was that the manual would mention that to change the management IP to a diffrent VLAN, that VLAN must exist as an untagged port somewhere on the switch. It makes sense probably to most users, but in case you had plan to use a trunk link that carries that VLAN, you still need that untagged port on the management VLAN. I used yealink and sangoma phones and they powered right up. I am happy with the switch, the features and the price.

I had a number of Netgear switched GS724v4 and GS110TPP together with some Zyxel that were used for PoE VoIP phones. I had a requirement to replace the Zyxel switch and following a review of what was available picked the GS728TPv2. I checked the other reviews and some commented that this switch was noisy due to the fans. I bought two switches and sure enough one was noisy and the second one was fine. They were cabinet mounted so there ware no issues. I especially like the Netgear VLAN options and now with a mix of PoE and non PoE switches then I can have a common VLAN configuration across each. The value for money for a 24/28 port switch was good.

Solid switch with over 200 days of being online. For advanced vlan setup is a little challenging and dealing with mgt tagging but after a solid config this device has been rock solid.

Good switch but why do we have to have Insight? Can't get around it. I should be able to manage normally via port forwarding like any other switch! This software feature that should be optional.
