NETGEAR 5 Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch (GS605NA)

I never knew Id need a switch for ethernet ports, but I did and my Internet tech was the one who recommended it to me. Who would know better then a tech, right? So, I got it and I am not mad that I did. Its perfect. Perfect amount of ports, perfect size, just perfect in general.

Very easy to hook up. It's very basic

It's pretty simple - plug this into your router and viola you have four more inputs to plug in computers, voip phones, etc. (1 of the 5 ports is used by the router leaving 4 open). No apparent loss of speed, very stable.

It works, no issues or much need to do anything with it beyond just plugging it in. Make sure you get a switch that has the amount of ports you need, for my specific situation this worked great.

I needed more ports for my mesh router, and this Netgear product fit the bill. Installation was easy, although I had to google the instructions rather than follow the ones listed in the product literature. It's really like a plug and go kinda thing, it's that easy.

It is a simple unmanaged switch with 5 ports. It does not come with a stand as depicted in the picture.

I ordered a GS605NA whose listing states it comes with a stand, and images show the product is circled with clear plastic; however they gave me a GS605 instead. GS605 is a refurbished model with a lower price! They look so alike but they are different and confusing customers!

I've bought 2 of these in the last month. Both have overheated and died with only 1 camera plugged into them. Absolutely garbage
