NETGEAR - 8-Port Gigabit Ethernet Unmanaged Switch (GS108)

Was looking for a way to utilize a LAN for gaming to bypass WiFi signal lag and my old bulky 16 port LAN device was just too big! Found this Netgear unit and it brought the joy of gaming to ease once again (although only 8 ports).

Solid and reliable. This is my second Netgear 8-port, not because the first failed -- but because it worked so well, I left it in the house we moved from and need a new one! Great product, easy to use.

I owned a similar Netgear hubs (4 and 8 port) many years ago. Looks the same as my old hubs. Build is great. all-metal casing. I'm confident I'll be happy with this box for many years.

Bought two; thought the other switches were bad. (they weren't.) These are heavier, more ports and they stay put, don't slide around as much.

Using these for years. Excellent quality. Just make sure Spectrum puts a grounding block on your cable install. One electrical storm, and its dead.

WORKS VERY WELL AND EASY TO USE

This switch works as advertised. It's easy to set up and connect and is fast.

Super easy setup, just plug in the cables and go. Using it now as a small node transfer port. Fast, easy, reliable.

The device is known to have slow port speeds since previous version of this model. I would not recommend. Tested with multiple devices and cables this is not a reliable device.

The item was ordered to be delivered to my home which is only 5 miles from the store. The order was canceled by Walmart with no reason given. The only msg sent to me was 'delivery was attempted'. this is just poor service all the way around. :(
