We love the bird feeder. Easy follow through instruction. It’s very cute and has good quality. I love how I get the alert every time the censor is triggered and the picture quality is HD. My 4 years old loves to see bird and can’t wait to see what we will get. Definitely would recommend it!!
This bird camera is amazing! I researched and determined this was the best and it didn’t disappoint. The videos and pictures are so clear and the bird recognition was on point! I am super happy with this purchase and highly recommend it!
Awesome feeder! It’s hilarious to watch the birds look at themselves in the mirror finish if the camera housing. They are a bit slow to come but once they do, you will have endless fun watching them. Best purchase this month! One thing to note: you will need a way to keep the squirrels from eating everything. The included baffle was no trouble for them to match right by. Go to a local Wildlife Bird store and get a good pole with a strong metal cylinder type baffle.
ingave this to my brother for Christmas and he loves it. He sends us videos all the time now, it's so cute seeing all the different birds eating.
Very easy to set-up. Works great. Comes standard with many options for installation. My wife loves getting the notifications
Great product! Came in a timely manner.
It is a cool camera. Easy to set up. Took a bit for it to actually start the recording of birds. I bought it to identify the different hummingbirds in my area.....and never has yet. Just says "bird". Already knew that.
It is still a work in progress. It will sometimes disconnect from the internet. And the solar panel doesn't always work even though there is plenty of sunshine. And when it does work, it is inadequate for that camera. So every 4 or 5 days I have to bring the feeder inside and charge the camera battery (they don't provide a charger, only the cable). On the positive side, when working it does take good video. Also, the support staff is very responsive and helpful when chatting.
Installation and app went well. No birds came to the feeder in a 24 hour period. Only squirrels. I used the 3 features to try to scare the squirrel away - sound an alarm, flash a bright light, and use the intercom to yell. It was u. Camera looks great though. And it's cool that several people can login to see the feed. But the notifications are super intrusive and annoying (you can turn them off obviously but you won't know when a bird or squirrel is there. )
This is a WiFi-networked door camera, recharged by a solar panel, inside a bird feeder made from thin plastic, and you have to buy a memory card, too. The software is rather questionable. The app is hard to navigate and contains tons of advertising and no help. The website is rudimentary and does not even permit adding the camera to your account. Support is willing but not effective. Notifications, if any, are erratic at best. Alert filtering is hit and miss, i.e., cars passing by will trigger recording even if vehicle alerts are turned off. At least you find out when your neighbors commute, when the schoolbus picks up kids, when the garbage truck passes by, and when the mail is delivered... Very few birds are actually identified, and not necessarily twice as the same species... At least the links to Wikipedia are cute. Bottom line: there is potential but a very long way to go. Meanwhile, this is too expensive to capture a few amusing bird shots.
