I’ve been using this brand of SPF for your face for over 10 years and it’s by far the best. There’s no fragrance and it’s not oily or greasy at all! It dries with a matte finish so there’s no shine and it makes a great base for foundation makeup. You really don’t feel or see it on your face with or without applying makeup over top. It’s really the best in my opinion, as I have tried many different brands throughout the years. And it washes off easily at the end of the day. I should have started using this way before I did!

Not heavy on your face. I have issues with my skin not breathing and feeling oily. it feels light and absorbs quickly. it seems to work well in water as I apply usually twice for a 6 hour float trip. I've had dark Sun damaged spots on my face and a few dark aged spots on the back of my hand. I've been using this product over 3 years. the skin damage has improved am my dermatologist can see a difference. I also use it on my body at the river or anytime I'm in the Sun for long periods. I have recommended it to many people and the two I am close with have continued using it. Neutrogena face shield SPF 70 for bald heads, Sun damage, and helped my friends red face. I will continue using this product daily. I apply the amount I need on the back of one hand and rub the backs together. I then use my finger tips to apply to my chest, face and neck. My arms, shoulders, and ears if they're going to be exposed to the Sun.

I love this sunscreen! It’s really light and doesn’t feel like you’ve got sunscreen on. I use it on face/neck and can put make up on my face if needed. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a good sunscreen that doesn’t cause irritation or feel heavy

I wanted a quality sunscreen for my face and this one is super. It is light weight yet provides adequate protection. I work in my garden often and need protection from the sun. It is water resistant and seems to not run off from sweat. It should be reapplied after about eighty minutes but in the heat of summer probably a little sooner. I plan on purchasing one of Neutrogena's spray sunscreens as it would be easier than washing my hands to avoid reapplying with dirty hands. It feels light enough to easily be worn with makeup. I really like this one.

Neutrogena Age Shield Face Oil-Free Sunscreen, SPF 70 sunblock is the first thing to go on my face and arms every morning. This sunblock goes on smoothly, feels great, is a nice base under makeup, and protects from dangerous sun rays. I play outdoor sports and need a sunblock that consistently works well.

It provides good coverage. It's a little thick. I noticed the formula separated in the tube and it needed to be shaken while in the tube to blend the ingredients. It was well within the date. Not sure why some of the ingredients separated. Could have been a fluke. Generally good product.

This Neutrogena sunscreen does just what it is supposed to do. You sure won't get a sunburn but you won't get a suntan either! I think I'll dial down the SPF next time ! A very good product. It prevents sunburn. I wish it was a little more like a lotion.

I’ve used this product for over ten years and would prefer a higher SPF but above 70 is no longer available due to cancer concerns. It goes on smoothly but occasionally it will sit on the surface of the skin and flake off if you touch your face especially if you use loose powder to finish your makeup. The trick is to make sure all of your moisturizers and liquid makeup are fully absorbed into the skin before applying the sun screen. My goal is to protect my skin from sun damage, premature aging and cancer. This sun screen does that. I prefer the cream to the spray because I have sensitive skin and the cream is fragrance free. It’s okay. Still leaves a white cast if you’re not careful about rubbing it in all the way. Doesn’t feel greasy, but you can feel something is on your skin. A more matte finish would be better. Would use again in a pinch. I like this more than standard sunscreen but not enough to recommend.

I started to use this sunscreen once I got it in March. However, I found that the oil separating from the sunscreen after two months, then it became diluted. This happened two months after I bought it, and it will not expire until 2027. Also, it happened to my another sunscreen Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch. I bought it from Walmart store on 6/7/25, but I found the oil separate from it after one month. I am so disappointed about Neutrogena’s sunscreen quality. Even though I got the refund from Walmart right away, I still need to report this issue here.
