Neutrogena Beach Defense SPF 30 Sunscreen Lotion, 6.7 oz

I like this sunscreen a lot and to me, it is more natural than other sunscreens I used in past. I have a very sensitive skin and I got allergy using other sunscreens; itching and redness. This is a light sun screen lotion (SPF 30). It is oil free and a little bit more watery than I expected. I have to rub it as soon as I put on my skin otherwise it drips. Because it is not very tick and is light, I use it for myself and also use it on my grandson. It works fine on him. He likes it because it doesn't smell. It is fast absorbing and I don't have to rub it hard on his skin.

How pleasantly surprised I was at this lovely fresh smelling lotion. I have used other Neutrogena sunscreen products and I had found them to be too thick and sometimes greasy for my comfort. This Beach Defense goes on lightly and it feels clean and fresh. I have only been using this a little over a week now but find it lovely to use and very pleasant to put on my face. I have very sensitive skin and have had no reactions or problems from using this product. None at all! I have been using this every morning and absolutely love it. I also plan to continue with that regimen every day through out the summer months. I highly recommend this product and if you enjoy using it half as much as I do, you will be very happy with it!

Neutrogena brand is a favorite and Beach Defense is another one that our family has added to our outdoor's routine. The bottle is huge, and should last most the way through summer. We would have been happier with a higher SPF factor, but other than that, the value for this size bottle, and that we are protected from the sun while in the water for more than an hour works for our family. Protection from the sun is needed every where we venture - on the beach, around town, outdoor sports, hiking, biking, or in the water. This particular product is water resistant for 80 minutes; which, is what we are looking for when we hit the beach, because trying to round everyone up to reapply lotion is almost impossible. The fragrance is light, but smells like we have arrived at the beach. Another feature that we like about this product is the consistency, when applied to the skin, it is not runny or watery, but rich... like lotion should be.

I love Neutrogena Beach Defense Sunscreen Body Lotion. Finally a sunscreen that in not greasy and absorbs very quickly. I went to the beach yesterday and used Neutrogena Beach Defense sunscreen for the first time and boy oh boy was I a happy camper. First, it smells so fresh and clean. Loved the scent. Second, it goes on so smooth and absorbs very very quickly. Third, it makes your skin feel soft and hydrated. Not dried out and greasy like most sunscreens. I live in south Florida and use sunscreen nearly every day so believe me I know sunscreen and am always on the look out for the perfect block. I believe I've found it. Smells fresh and clean. No greasy, heavy feeling. Does not burn your skin. Absorbs quickly. AND IT WORKS. I did not get any sun where I had the sunscreen applied. I believe Neutrogena hit this one out of the park.

Being very fair skinned I wear sunscreen all year round. Normally I find that with sun screens they leave an odor on my clothes so I either have to put it on an hour before I get dressed and then can't put it on again or my clothes and I smell of sun screen. This sun screen is not greasy, it absorbs quickly and doesn't have an odor which means I can put it on throughout the day without it making my skin greasy, marking my clothes and more importantly I do not smell of sun screen . Also being a person that just needs to see the sun to burn, I haven't burnt since using this product. I also like the bottle shape as it's easy to hold and the lid is not too difficult to undo. I would recommend this product.

Beach Defense is a sunscreen with SPF 30. It has a nice yet subtle fragrance. If has a silky texture that is not runny or thin in consistency. I like the pleasant fragrance, it smells like vanilla, however it has an underlying scent which is equivalent to the scent you would smell at a water park, at least that was my impression. Beach Defense protects users from water and sun which is a plus. I applied the  Sunscreen to my wrist just to test it. It doesn't rub in easily you would have to keep rubbing the surface, however once the sunscreen is applied I feel covered. The fragrance is long lasting and the skin is smooth. SPF 30  in Beach Defense will provide an extra layer of protection against harmful UV rays. I appreciate the fact that it protects you from the water also, because my skin tends to get very dry after swimming. This product will be an awesome addition to my family. However, it would be great if this product added another layer of protection to fight against mosquitos as well to make it a multidimensional product. Other than that,  I am quite pleased with this product.

Neutrogena Beach Defense sunscreen lotion... being it is December, I haven't be able to put it to the test, but the lotion itself is nice. Light weight lotion, not greasy, rubs in easily and smells great too. The bottle is a nice shape that fits easily in your hands.

I am a long time Neutrogena fan and I like this sunscreen. It is light weight so it goes a long way, it goes into the skin good and lasts. It makes my skin feel soft and smooth. The fragrance is so strong I cannot put it on or near my face. I am allergic to a lot of things and this probably would not bother most.

The first thing to notice about this product is the packaging. The yellow color is super for a sunscreen product. The indentations on the sides of the container are super for gripping the container, especially with sunscreen on your hands. The sunscreen dispenses nicely from the bottle. When applying the lotion it goes on smoothly. The only drawback I thought it had was the lotion was a bit too runny. If it had been a bit thicker or a bit more rich it would have been more of a pleasure to blend into the skin. Even with that drawback, it appears to be a very nice product. The best part is the scent.

This sun tan lotion wasn't too thick and it didn't leave you feeling oily. No real oily residue left after applying it. The strength is weak for my skin , I usually use spf 50. Overall, not bad, not great for fair skinned people, like my son, so maybe an spf of 50 would be good.
