I use it with a light as a feather stroke to fill in my eyebrows. Great coverage and color. You can press as light or hard as you want for the desired results. So far it works just great.
It works and stays on top of water resistant sunscreen!!! Wipe tip after each application to avoid clogging or drying out tip
have dark auburn hair and pretty fair, golden undertone skin. Though my natural eyebrow hairs are actually quite dark, they are naturally thin; that, exacerbated by hormonal changes that caused sparse spots. If I use a color that is the same color as my own brows, it is far too stark and off putting. Lol. So I tried the Neutrogena Microbrow serum pen in the taupe color and it is perfect! I had been using Stila brand in "Light" for years and loved it, but got tired of spending $22 every month or so. Plus i felt the pen seem to dry out quicker than before. I tried the Neutrogena because the super fine brush tip was identical to the type used by Stila - I dont care for the bold, Insta-brows you see so often, but prefer the hairline strokes for a natural looking brow. This. Is. Perfect! It takes some time and a light, steady hand, but man is it worth it! Color blends beautifully and doesn't change after wearing for a while like the NYX brand, which changed to a yucky green after a while. This product stays all day - even after exercising - and yet washes off easily with soap and water. If you like the ability to create natural looking brows and only fill in where needed, this is the pen for you. I imagine you could use more if you wanted a bolder look as well. The fact that it has a serum for your brows makes me hopeful it will help mine grow back in some or at least not thin out any more. Lol. We'll see! Either way, I'm in love!
I really like the ability to draw thin lines to fill in much like microblading without the skin trauma. I have had mine done a few times, and you can't keep microblading, after a while. So I have a base color that needs a bit of definition now from time to time when I want to put on makeup. It dries fast, seems to not dry out in the applicator even if you don't use it in a long time. It does stay well on the skin through the day even if you perspire, and is easily removed at night. It has a somewhat transparent quality that makes it easier not to overdo. The very fine tipped brush seems to stay fine and pointy when storing, the tip doesn't get spread out and lose its ultra fine shape like many paintbrushes do after a few uses. I appreciate the choice of colors but it takes some experimenting to find what works for you. I would appreciate a bit more options with colors. I tend to be on the medium to dark/red base side and most of the shades in the depth I need tend to have a gold base which can leave a tint that isn't quite right for me. I tend to use two colors for a slightly more 3d effect. I wish there was a way to do this more consistently - someone needs to make some kind of guide/support for shaky hands on us older gals! And having a QR code with a link to videos with tips for creating the perfect brow would be an added plus!
I accidentally dermabladed off one eyebrow at end of it. So far it works. I had to play with it to figure it out. I give it time to dry than gently dab
Takes a light hand, but can fill in powder product very nicely
This would be a nice product but it turned my skin an orange color when I applied it so it's not suitable for my complexion as I am very fair skinned.
I keep trying to find a brow pen with this application style. Every single one that is supposed to be blonde/taupe/light… is almost black. This one is dark brown. Nothing taupe abt it. Looks like black magic marker. The applicator is great, the color is WAY too dark.
I use this product regularly and like it. One star rating is for the seller. I ordered from them and they sent me the wrong item and now I'm just getting error messages when I try to send them a message. Incompetent or dishonest?
This product made me break out n itchy so badly that my whole forehead now has dry red bumps all over it to the point its hurting when i wash ky face or use cream or anything that touches that area. I am in so much pain from it and i dont know what to do. I havent used ut in 5 days now n its spreading from just eyebrow area to my whole foregead and its swollen. I am very upset hecause i dont ever get breakout or pimples or not that sensitive to products. Its horrible
