Neutrogena Purescreen+ Mineral Beach Defense Performance Sunscreen

It works, will leave a white cast.

I have been using the Purescreen+ mineral beach defense and it really has worked well and it doesn't irritate my face. The overall experience was great and I will be purchasing again.

I bought this sunscreen last summer, and I absolutely love it! It's A mineral sunscreen, which I like. When applying the sunscreen it rubs on well with no white cast. I like that it has aloe in it to nourish my skin. It provides great coverage. I also love that it's a 3 oz. Size that is easy to pack in my carry on when traveling. It's super hard to find it in stores this summer though, which is sad, since it was a new product last year.

I'm glad I got the opportunity to try it because it works really well if you like the tan but don't want your skin to burn this is the best product to you.

It is relatively thick, which I like because I feel like that helps add a protective layer against the sun. However, I was disappointed that it only has an SPF of 30. I personally prefer an SPF that's a little higher; at least 60.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My biggest requirements with sunscreen is a pleasant scent and a high SPF. I cannot stand that traditional sunscreen smell that lingers for hours. Neutrogena has the scent down. I usually use the blue bottle that is a similar size but higher SPF. This beach defense is very similar in all ways except the low SPF won't work for me. However It blends into your skin easily, no breakouts, and leaves a healthy finish-not dry not or too shiny. I also use luxury brand sunscreens but if you are trying to save money I highly recommend trying Neutrogena, they have made me a believer in over the counter sunscreens. Personally, I won't use sunscreen under 50SPF for anti aging properties but my partner loves this one. I will stick with the blue one.

What has happENED TO suncreen!? This stuff is terrible. i've tried Mineral ultra sheer and now beach defense. it's like trying to rub glue on your skin and you look blue/white AFTERWARDS. you can't hardly scrub it off at the end of the day. it works good but you will look terrible and hate using it. why would anyone want this!! ignore good reviews. i'm giving it two stars only bECAUSE it works good at protecting your skin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not a fan of this sunscreen. For SPF30, this is a very thick sunscreen that leave a lot of white cast. I am a light skin person and it took me a while to spread it out enough so the white cast is not visible
