Neutrogena Soothing Clear Turmeric Jelly Makeup Remover, 5 fl. oz

I loved the Neutrogena Soothing Clear Turmeric Jelly makeup remover so much that I bought one yesterday. The Neutrogena Soothing Clear Turmeric Jelly has an amazing smell to it. When I applied it to my face it felt so freshing and non-drying at all. Loved it!

I have sensitive skin, and this does not irritate me.

The consistency feels good and light, just a few rubs in it definitely removed most of your makeup off, especially waterproof mascara or eyeliner. At first, I was a bit skeptical but when I tried it it seemed to be good. I also like how it's good for acne proneskin, and my skin is usually sensitive to any product if I am going to introduce it into my skincare. But my skin hasn't breakout or had any rashes.

I love the Jelly Makeup Remover. I am a makeup enthusiast so I tend to do full blown Instagram-esque looks. This got all the foundation and base makeup off withing minutes. It says just wiping without rinsing is sufficient but I'm a rinser! The only downside was that I tended to sometimes have to go back in over glitter or anywhere I used lash glue. For that reason, I would probably use wipes with the same formula to apply more pressure. Otherwise, the scent is soothing. The texture is fun, light, and makes removing makeup simple without having to drag your face or scrub too hard. I would definitely recommend this to any and everyone! 4.8/5

As soon as I got this product I immediately went to open the bottle and smell it. That natural turmeric scent is amazing. I went about my makeup look and at the end of the day I finally tried it. It felt nice and fresh on my face and removed all the makeup and gunk. My face felt refreshed and soft after I pat it dry. Thanks Home Tester Club!

The Neutrogena Soothing Clear Turmeric Jelly Makeup Remover is a great cleansing product. It is good removing makeup and moisturizing the skin, and has a great fresh scent. The only thing that disappointed me was that it didn't really work well for removing eye makeup. Other than that it is a fantastic product!

I received a full sized bottle of Neutrogena Soothing Clear Turmeric Jelly Makeup Remover as a sample in exchange for my honest review so here it is. Let me start off by saying I'm a makeup remover fan(if that's a thing. Like all makeup wearers we know there are some better than others. Also, I'm not sure if this makeup remover is meant for foundation or if it's meant for removing all makeup including eye makeup. I wear heavy black eye makeup and no foundation so yep you guessed it I used it on my eyes:) The fragrance is nice but SUPER strong. I'm not sensitive to smells per se but I definitely think it could be toned down. So I applied the remover as instructed and wiped as instructed. Definitely made my makeup come off but for the lashes I had to really work at it and ended up using a makeup wipe to finish taking it off. A little goes a long way. I will most likely use this product until it's gone but would not buy it. Very happy to have tested this product. I am a Neutrogena fan.

The appearance of the labeling/ bottle and color/ look (the little flake's inside) was very appealing. I was excited to try it out as soon as I seen it. Consistency was a tad thin and oily which I didn't mind too much. It removed my eye makeup with a few swipes, it was pretty perfect at removing the makeup. The only down fall I had with the product is that it made me break out with red bumps / pimples. I don't ever break out from using any products. Then again I can't recall ever using a product labeled that it has turmeric in it. Not quite sure what did it. It was for sure the makeup remover though because it was the only new thing I had used. So I wouldn't buy it in the store or recommend that specific product. But that Does not change my view on Neutrogena as one of my all time favorite brands.

I love the idea of using turmeric in skincare. However, I don't think this product delivers as much as it could. The consistency isn't jelly-like but it's slightly thicker than most cleansers. The scent reminds me of 7-up, which isn't necessarily bad. I had to use a lot of pumps to get my makeup to break apart, meaning you'll run out faster. I tried to use it like a make-up remover wash but you need to really use a towel to remove your make-up if not it just sits on your face after you wash off the remover in a clumpy way. I've used other removers that needed to be used with towels as well but this one I believe was just generally less effective. It had a tough time breaking up my mascara even though it wasn't waterproof & when I followed up with a facial cleanser there was still product left behind that the cleanser removed. It's just middle ground. I wouldn't say I recommend it but it some-what does it's job. I didn't experience any brightening but I did like the non-greasy formula.

This remover was AWFUL! I could not get over the scent of this. It was a mixture of different scents and I did not like it. When I went to take off my makeup, all it did was rub it around. It did not come off my face or hands AT ALL! I had to get another remover to do the job. I had tried it a couple times and in different ways but it never worked.
