It is good to know that there's a product like Neutrogena T/Sal for help with the treatment of scalp psoriasis. As those with psoriasis know it is a non relenting affliction that flares its ugly head whenever it wants. This is the case with my 64 YO sister who is an adult with Down's Syndrome. A small amount each time she showers is all that is needed to keep her scale in check. We have used this with her for decades and will continue to do so forever. The only negative is that it smells funky. I use gloves when applying and also cream rinse her hair afterwards. That levels out the smell as well as softening her hair. The cream rinse does not impact the treatment. Now I wish Neutrogena would come up with a treatment for foot psoriasis! Her ointments are laborious.

Great for soriasis

The Neutregena T/sal therapeautic shampoo is definitely a great choice for a psoriasis treatment .This shampoo is recommended for an itchy dried scalp due to psoriasis or eczema ..It stops the itch faster than just using the regular ,head and shoulder shampoo whch i wouldnt recommend ,the t/ sal does work on behalf of the itchy dried scalp ,but i wouldnt recommend this shampoo as a long term use . .It does leave the hair dried and frizzy ,not intended for giving the hair a moisterizing healthy ,shiny look..

The box is scary, and reminds me of hospital walls. The actual bottle is fine tho. It does what it says. I think it is supposed to be used in conjunction with another shampoo. This is because I don't think it is formulated to clean like other shampoos, just clear. I am very glad it did not dry out my scalp.

This shampoo worked for my grandson's flacky irritated scalp issues. He actually had a scalp odor due to how irritated his scalp was. THANK YOU NEURTOGENA for getting the job done !
