This is an excellent way to protect your clubs when flying. Protection in good in all areas but excellent where you need it the most. I would buy this again.
This is the second golf travel cover from BagBoy. I have owned one for some years bought whilst visiting USA. This is a replacement bag for my wife and will be used in travelling on a long haul trip in March. It takes a full size golf bag easily lots of room left for clothes etc. Well worth paying more for a premium product
This travel bag is durable and well design and support by a great company. I have used it 5 time flying Southwest and hardly no wear. I use the backbone to protect my club and its easy to install. I would recommend the Bag Boy travel bag to anyone who wants to play and have their club fully protected.
Ultimate in club protection. I was able to fit all my golf gear in this bag. Plus my dirty clothes on the way home. I had the original version. It was still in excellent shape after 10 years. (So good someone borrowed it and didn’t want to give it back)
It was easy to pull the travel bag with the spin handle on top. The bag wouldn't tip over left or right. Two roomy pockets on each side and one shoes pocket. These pockets when full helped to protectthe clubs also. Well padded top area to protect the clubheads, but I also bought the Bag Boy Backbonealuminum extender rod for added protection.
Bought this travel bag for my trip to Florida. It is very well constructed and my clubs arrived in very good condition. The materials this travel bag are made of will really take a beating. I also purchased the Bag Boy Backbone Travel Support which really helps protect the clubs from damage. Highly recommend buying both.
I got this bag and have used it a couple of times already. The airlines have beat on it appropriately and it seems to be holding up ok. I would have preferred black over the blue color but seemed unavailable. The blue works well for me anyway. I was pleased with the structure and the padding and my clubs seem to like it. :)
Good looking bag. Defintately need the club glove stiff arm to keep it upright. Have to load it lying down since it won't stand up straight by itself. Hold alot of equipment including golf shoes, extra jackets, balls, etc. Once you zip it up it rolls nicely. Might have trouble ketting this in a trunk of car.
I purchased this product to replace a 10 year old golf bag traveling case that finally succumbed to the rigors of many airline trips. The nicest features of the Bag Boy T-2000 are its lightweight and the fact that it is extremely easy to load. The all around zipper makes getting a golf bag into the T-2000 a very simple operation. Once inside, a strap with a clip holds it firmly in place. If you pack your golf shoes correctly into the two side compartments (there is one compartment on each side of the carry case) they will almost disappear into the bag which is a good thing, since it minimizes the width of the carry bag by making it less bulky. I've now used the T-2000 on two round trip airline flights so far, but since each leg of the round trips involved one connection, the bag actually had to be loaded and unloaded on eight different occasions. So far so good. No damage to the clubs or to the bag and I did not purchase the support device that some other reviews recommended. The wheels roll very smoothly and they are quieter than the ones that were on my previous traveling bag. The pivot grip at the top of the bag makes it easy to pull, especially when you are not going in a straight line, but it had a tendency to turn when you went to stand the bag upright as you might want to do when you are at an airline ticket counter or you are otherwise stopping for a moment. The fact that it did so, made standing the bag upright a bit awkward unless you were very careful to do it with the correct motion, sometimes taking two or three tries to get it right. Also, and perhaps because I did not purchase and use a support device, the top part of the bag tended to tilt a bit when you stood it upright, almost causing the bag to fall over. Since I've only used it on two trips, I can't comment on its long term durability. I rated it a 4 because of the tendency to tilt and the slight difficulty when going to stand the bag upright. Without those two problems, it would have been a 5 but that doesn't mean it still isn't a decent buy for the price.
Just used for the first time. The area on the outside of the bag where the stand guard inside the bag attaches, got really scuffed up from the airline belt loader. There's doesn't appear to be any holes in it just scuffed. I am worried next time there could be a hole.
