New Balance Golf 574 Greens Grey

Hate buying anything online. I'm old school, like to see stuff in person and make sure it fits properly. When I received the shoes (black w/tan highlights) I was impressed with the looks, but concerned they didn't fit properly (too tight INITIALLY). So bottom line: after loosening laces, and relacing once or twice, using shoe trees initially, than wearing.... they're absolutely fine and fit well. I'd buy again if I needed another pair, and recommend to my golf playing friends.

I bought two pair of New Balance golf shoes these, and a pair of Links SL and while these shoes feel great on my feet the Links SL are not quite so. I wish I didn't throw away the shoe box the Links SL came in because I would rather have two pair of these shoes to rotate between rounds of golf.

After reviewing different style golf shoes, I've decided on the 574 Greens. When they arrived I tried them on and hit a few balls, nice traction and so comfortable they can easily become walking shoes. Next day I walked the wet course and was happy after the round that my socks were still dry, will definitely buy the same shoe again.

New to golf and no matter what footwear I was wearing I felt a lack of strong and secure contact with the round. From the first time I wore the NB golf shoes I felt more grounded and secure while hitting the ball; now only if they could help improve my game.

I needed new golf shoes (having worn out a pair of NB purchased two or three years ago) and chose these based on the information on the NB Website. Although I've only worn them three times, they are very comfortable, provide good support when walking on uneven surfaces, and afford the stability to not lose balance while swinging. Based on my experience to date, when these wear out I would very likely purchase them again.

The New Balance 574 Greens Golf Shoes are good looking, provide excellent support, and are very comfortable. They are strongly recommended if you are looking for a quality affordable golf shoe that will serve you well during a beautiful day on the golf course, and keep your feet dry when the course is wet or during rainy conditions. I am very pleased with these golf shoes and recommend them to others.

New Balance is the only athletic shoe I wear, which makes me sad to say that this great-looking shoe just didn't have a big enough toe box for my 16 D foot. It is also a tad heavier than I am used to in a NB golf shoe, but it's still a great look and lots of golfers will be very happy wearing it on the links and on the ride to and from the course. The NB Fresh Foam Links SL will be my golf shoe for the summer!

Glad to have spikeless golf shoe in big and wide size...soles appear much more substantial than previous spikeless golf shoes NB has offerred. Would like to have a little more exciting sole color or trim to jazz up shoe. Otherwise NB offers a great shoe

I have a pair of All Coasts 574s which are like board shoes with no heel to toe drop. I use them to hit golf balls off mats at the driving range. They are fine for that, but slip if there is any moisture on the mat and don't work well on grass. I got the 574 Greens thinking I'd be getting the same shoe with better traction. However, the insole is thick at the heel so you lose the zero drop and its so soft that it feels like your right heel is falling into a hole when you put weight on it during the backswing. I put regular insoles in so I get the zero heel drop and they really grip on mats, but not in loose dirt. They're walkable like that, but without the thick insole they feel loose at the heel. I think they're just going to be range shoes.

I was pleased when NB started making golf shoes and have been wearing some version of NB golf shoes exclusively eve since. However this shoe is not made on the same ""last"" as all my other NB shoes. A good looking shoe but too narrow and no room in the toe box. I'm not giving up on NB just disappointed.
