Look at these shoes as an investment into your health. I mean healthy body is priceless, right? It's all about the prevention rather than intervention! I have flat feet and been doing this 10k step a day challenge. My old shoe was getting worn out and I needed a new pair. I did some research found this to be a top choice and bought it. These shoes are probably the best most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I mean no need to buy insoles, because these are amazing as is. The slick style of the shoe makes wearing clothes effortlessly. I have enough foot space to spread my toes out & there's mesh in the spot my toe bone often rubs against that typically hurt in other shoes, but not this one. I feel happier when wearing these shoes knowing I won't experience foot pain. I'm hoping it last longer than my previous New Balance shoes and if it does…100% buying another pair.

After trying 6 different pairs (long story) of runners for my upcoming trip I finally ended up with these. We have been walking for hours everyday and I can finally say my feet are not sore from it! Plus sized wide footed lady with orthotics. So being able to provide toe box space and foot stability at the same time as impact absorption was very important. Don't hesitate to buy!!!!

After many years of buying multiple brands of sneakers to provide the support my feet needed, the New Balance 990 has so far exceeded expectations. Sneaker came recommended for ankle instability issues I've suffered with over the years. Found it really easier to order the correct size and width online. Extremely happy and looking to purchase another pair once I'm done breaking these ones in.

I love these shoes! They're actually my third pair this year – I wear through shoes quickly, but New Balance keeps me coming back. They're comfortable, supportive, and I think they look pretty cool too. We were in Paris recently, and I noticed New Balance everywhere on the streets, which confirmed my suspicion about the cool factor! I even found an old photo from 1984 after I ran a road race, and there I was wearing New Balance. I've been loyal to this brand for years, and for good reason.

I've worn women's 990 for over 10 years and these fit as expected. Comfortable and supportive. But I'm tired of the color selection of black, navy and gray. Could you please add some other colors? I tried the unisex sizing in the 990's but they don't fit well - slip in the heel and a little big all over. Please, please, please add some new colors!

These shoes are so good! Supportive, comfortable and look great! I walk tons of miles in these with only good things to report. I have a foot that has had several surgeries and bothers me quite a bit, but these shoes help it feel better and keep me moving more than any others I've tried over the years.

I've become more disappointed with New Balance over the years. I always wanted the grey color but it was quite the challenge. First pair was too tight even though that's my normal size in other colors. Second pair was a defect where the back of the shoe was higher on the left than the right. Third pair the suede grey was slightly lighter than the one other pair. I gave up! The quality is not there anymore.

I have to wear shoes a few days to really know if they're for me. These aren't. They are very well made, run a little large, excellent roomy toe box, but all my feet problems- some of which were well managed, have resurfaced. My big toes hurt, my feet get achy, and nerve issues get ignited. Now I'm stuck with some expensive shoes I can't wear.

Sizing is extremely off. I had to order a whole size down. Even with my laces tied tight, my ankle still slips a little too much, which then causes friction and blistered skin. I ordered a wide, which was fine for the toe box width, but way too long. I wanted to love these but I'm very disappointed for the price of the shoes.

I am a longtime wearer of the New Balance 990 line. The current 990 V6 is not up to par with the earlier versions. I am sorely disappointed in this shoe.
