New Balance Men's 608v5 Casual Comfort Cross Trainer

My son refers to these as dapper. He enjoys the blacked out version. In the past we've only been able to get white and blue but these my 15 yr old enjoys. He's got large and very wide feet 13 6e. So it's not easy finding affordable shoes but these work. He really likes new balances ability to house his foot comfortably. He busts threw shoes a lot in his life, tearing soles off, and tearing insoles apart with holes and tears. Not this brand he's had great fortune in these shoes they've literally paid for themselves with long term and hard use.

I used to work in Nike Air Force ones (horrible decisions) I decided I needed better work shoes and found these. They get the job done, and they truly do live up to the “slip resistant” part very nice and grippy shoes. I just wish I had gotten the wider models though, these do feel a little tight at times but once again good shoes, i recommend pairing these with good shoe insoles and compression socks if you’re on your feet for most of the days and due to their dark color you don’t have to worry about blemishes all too often I’d say I got my moneys worth.

I would like to start off by saying I love New balance shoes. I am 48 years old, and New Balance is (in my opinion) the most comfortable, durable, and size constant shoes I have ever worn. Been wearing only New Balance for round 35 years. Never have to try them on and always a perfect fit. This pair of slip resistant shoes is the first time I ever ordered a pair of shoes online, and I am 100% satisfied. If anyone needs a pair of slip resistant shoes or works in the restaurant industry and require slip resistant shoes I highly recommend great shoe very comfortable! Thank you New Balance for always having a great consistent product!

New Balance makes the best most comfortable tennis shoes available. The insole is soft and supportive and the outer shoe is durable. Love my New Balance non skids!!

Nice comfortable fitting shoe with a non slip sole which is an added bonus. Feels good on my feet and doesn't look too bad either. Good walking shoe which is exactly what I needed and wanted.

I bought these shoes to wear delivering mail for the post office and they have proven to be very good and are very comfortable. Will definitely be buying another pair when needed

Stylish shoes, my dogs were BARKING those first 4 days of breaking them in. They are easy to clean when they get dirty and they keep my feet dry when cleaning floors and doing dishes. They did get comfortable after finally breaking them in. At first it feels like there's no arch support but the insoles form to the shape of your feet. They are holding up pretty well after about 3 weeks of wearing them everyday for work. They also add about an inch of height which is is cool too.

This is my go-to shoe model but the top of the left shoe made a cupping sound as it popped back to shape during a step. This was pretty obnoxious but I was able to end that sound by bending the top of the shoe and breaking it in. I had never experienced that with the many pairs of this model I have worn.

The shoe is OK but what it's lacking is enough support to handle the stress of a real work shoe especially in the restaurant industry. This nonslip 608 shoe just falls short of what the 857 nonslip provides in extra support and durability. Unfortunately New Balance discontinued the 857 without having a replacement ready to go. Very disappointing as now I'm forced to buy a cheaper shoe that offers less support and that will need replacing 2x as fast!

Significantly smaller than my last pair. Exact same manufacturer and Size 17 6E wide. The sole of these is almost half an inch smaller in width. They DO NOT FIT, that isn't something that stretches. There is no "break in" these are physically smaller yet sold as the exact same size as my old ones. Don't waste your money.
