New Balance Men`s Fresh Foam X CT-Rally D Width Tennis Shoes Sea Salt ( 8 )

I bought this shoe nearly a month ago for Pickleball. I play 3 to 4 times a week. The majority of which is outside. The shoes stability and comfort are fantastic. I had previously been playing in running shoes (terrible idea). I would say at this point I've played in my shoes near 15 occasions with more than 45 hours of play. They show no sign of wearing. I am 35yrs 6'3” 225lbs. I have played basketball my entire life but I am new to Pickleball. I play aggressively in attempt to use athleticism to overcome lack of skill at this point. The shoes are on point. I recommend them to everyone I play with. I trust New Balance at that is why I purchased them. I will be a repeat customer when the time comes. But that seems to be far off with the way they are holding up. Purchased size 12.5

My knees last longer on the court since I started wearing these shoes. Didn't cure my arthritis but help keep me playing.

Great fit and immense support while still feeling light on the court. Perfect for those with wider feet as well. I am prone to ingrown toenails in more narrow toeboxes and this shoe feels great so far.

Size 10, wide. Stiff at first but loosens as you wear it more. The top of the shoe is thin and firm. As you walk or bend the top of the shoe when you move, it presses down on the top of your feet. I attribute that to the shoe being new, it got more loose as I wore it more but was pretty uncomfortable in the beginning. Wear it for work where I stand on my feet all day, great support.

Very durable but need a little more cushioning and need to be lighter

The shoes are super comfortable and a great all around tennis/pickle ball shoes. I have purchased three Lav2's in the past and these are very similar. My only criticism is there is no tongue loop and the tongues move no matter how I lace the shoe including a runner's not. I get about 6 months of wear on these shoes playing 3 times a week on hard courts. This is an excellent choice if you have ball of foot pain such as a neuroma and/or you need added width.

Fresh Foam X CT-rally is a nice shoe. The design looks good, and the shoe incorporates similar elements of a Men's LAV model. I purchased 2 pairs of those when first released, and I loved those. Hoped this model would be similar in feel and speed. I typically use an insert in my shoes, and I did not need those in this model - at least out of the box. I was looking forward to feeling similar comfort as the LAV model, but the shoes currently have a less cushioning feel to me. I plan to give these a chance while I figure out if I will (in the end like them). The fit is narrow in the D width while the LAV model was perfect for a D width. From a "looks" perspective, I definitely like the CT Rally look over the other models.

Have been wearing an older model 996 9.5 wide (all orange) for a few years. That shoe fit me perfectly. This shoe fits longer in the toe box. The 9.5 wide in this newer model is actually a bit too big for me. Other than that the shoe feels and plays great on the court. I just have get used to playing with two pairs of socks. A little disappointing but the 9's would be too small for me.

I have worn 12 wide NB tennis shoes for many years. The Rally 12 wide shoes were noticeably more narrow than my past 12W New Balance shoes. I should have quit wearing them sooner but waited until I had blisters on my little toes. I tried the Coco model 12W; just as narrow, returned them quickly.
