New Balance ML574EVN: Men's 574 V1 Core, NAVY/WHITE

My boyfriend loves these! I got them for him for a week of walking in Washington Dc because he needed a tennis shoe for comfort. I told him about these and that they were more of a sneaker... a little dressier but still comfortable. He loved them and wore them every day! He also wears them to work with his scrubs now.

I was lucky to visit a new balance store in person and do the foot measuring and digital scan. This was TOTALLY worth it. My instinct was to purchase a 9.5 like I always do in a runner. The scan said to go with a 10 and wide. Im glad I listened. After trying multiple sizes, I absolutely was a 10 wide. Excellent shoes, great fit! I suggest getting fitted in store if you can.

I absolutely love my new New Balance 574 Core! I've been wearing them every single day since I bought them, and they're hands down the most comfortable shoes I've owned. My partners favourite shoes. His last pair of new balance cores lasted him years (wearing them practically every day!). I found these almost identical pair, but slightly different colour way, and he was absolutely stoked to enjoy these shoes for more years to come.

Cute casual shoe! However, after 4 hours on my feet, my lower back was feeling it. Still on the hunt for the unicorn of a cute, casual sneaker offering good support. I will say, all of my NBs have held up over time so they continue to be my preferred brand.

Although I do like this sneaker, this is a replacement pair for one purchased earlier. I have had an issue with several pairs of 574 models where the sole of the shoe falls apart at the seem only after wearing a few times. When the shoe holds, they are great, however it is frustrating when you cannot trust the shoe to always hold up.

Just not comfortable for me. They might be fine for someone else. I guess I just prefer something more rounded in the heel and a little cushier. Also the toe box, supposedly roomy, was no roomier than my Hoka shoes a half size smaller. I returned them.

Runs a little snug for NB. Oversized collars of shoes rubbed against my skin (low cut socks) until two gashes formed above my heels. Didn't realize I was bleeding until I felt burning from the rubbing. Would have returned the shoes but I bled on them.

The flattest and most narrow NB I ever tried to put on my feet. These were highly uncomfortable and you could tell they were too narrow just from looking at the bottom. Thankfully I was able to return for a full refund.
