New Balance Women's 880 V14 Running Shoes, Sea Salt/Gulf Red, 6 Wide

I was trying to find a shoe to go from work (as a nanny) to the gym, and walks after work. The pads of feet go numb in the thinner running shoes so I needed something cushier. This is the perfect shoe for all day wear. Plus, it comes in a neutral tones which is good for switching to outfits outside of the gym. I'm usually a size 8 but I went down a half size for a glove-like fit. I've cleaned them and the dirt lifts from the mesh on the toe, but is harder around the heel.

I am very satisfied with my newest pair of Fresh Foam 880s. This is my second pair of Fresh Foams but not my second pair of New Balance sneakers. I have been wearing New Balance for quite a few years. The Fresh Foams do seem to have an extra bounce to them. New Balance sneakers are a good quality sneaker and they are very durable. I believe I wear New Balance sneakers 95% of the time. I am 74 and nothing else feels comfortable.

These tennis shoes are truly the most comfortable shoes I've had & I've tried a lot of good brands! I'm on my feet several hours a day & they are so comfortable. They also have a wider toe area that I like a lot. I bought 2 pair & definitely recommend this style.

I have tried different brands of shoes. I tried the Solomon, Hoka and they do not compare to New Balance. I absolutely love these shoes. They are beautiful and comfortable. I honestly gave up on all shoes and only wear these to work. I walk a lot throughout the day and can't imagine wearing anything else. These are my everyday shoes. I highly recommend this specific one because it goes with everything. Thank you, New Balance for making my life more comfortable.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever put on my feet. I have wide feet, and having the option to have an extra wide shoe makes me remember when I was a kid and B width was the only "wide" size available. The thing that sent these shoes to the top of my list, though, is the foamy insole. I have always needed an insole for softness to prevent fasciitis. I also didn't want the big clunky look of some walking shoes (all the other ones.) I'm 81 now, so I can wear them everywhere.

My only complaint is due to the fact I have narrow feet, I am finding it more difficult to find shoes offered in that width. New Balance used to have a huge selection of different athletic shoes in a large range of widths and colors, but now just caters to standard and wider widths only now like the other athletic shoe companies. However, I am very happy to have purchased this model of shoe and it is extremely supportive and comfortable. I just wish that it came in more color choices for narrow feet other than black.

I've been wearing 880s for about 11 years. Could not wear last year's version due to restrictive toe box. Very happy with the V14 and the changes in the foam. Took one star off due to the color choices for women. They are honestly dull and drab. New Balance could do better for us gals.

The shoe is comfortable and light and at least as effective as v13. The laces are still too short, even though they got rid of a pair of eyelets in this version. If you are going to lace through all the eyelets, these laces barely make it. In v13, which had the additional pair of eyelets, the laces didn't make it at all. I speak as someone with an extremely narrow foot for whom laces are normally too long.

Very disappointed in this shoe! I bought two pairs, as I have been wearing the 880's for decades. Unfortunately, both pairs seem to be defective, as they caused severe blistering on the outside of my big toe. I now have 2 almost new and expensive shoes I can't wear!

Very different from the 880v13. The heel is different along with the soles of the shoe. I hope the v15 is back to what the v13 was because it is a great shoe. The v13 is my all time favorite shoe and the v14 is just so different so I hope they go back to a similar design
