Works great on gravel and freshly mowed grass. Has a USB charger for the truck and the remote takes 2 AA batteries. The remote is simple and has a mute/off button as well as an engine revving button. Make sure the truck itself is turned off and not just on silent when charging. Runs about 20 minutes with constant play.

Received this in the mail and it words great. My 10 year old loves it! The battery last long and it is very durable. I highly recommend this Remote control truck

My son's absolutely love this remote control truck. All the flashing lights and rumble sounds makes it really realistic. The battery lasts a long time and I love the rechargable battery. They get a long time out of one charge. Even the hubby loves playing with it, win win!!

I would definitely recommend this Monster Truck because it kept my godson quiet for hours of him in his own world being occupied. He flipped the truck, picked it up and even tried to ride it and it still worked. It took on a lot just the first day and he has been enjoying it from the day we got it. its not easily broken and durable. We love this monster truck and would recommend this anyone that has kids.

This is a really cool R/C truck. My kids were wowed by the way that it looks and couldn't wait to play with it. Once it was fully charged I decided that I needed to try it out first. As soon as it's powered on and the start button is pushed the truck roars to replicate the sound of the engine starting. There is also a button to make the engine sounds happen located on the controller. The headlights also work, but that's not the best part.. The remote also has a mute button, as a parent this has to be the best feature. We played with the truck for about an hour before it needed a charge, and the kids had so much fun. They did run it into a few walls, and it just kept on going with each direction change.

My son was over-the-moon from the time he spotted the truck in the box! It has everything kids love: remote controlled, loud noises, big tires, and it's a shiny, big monster truck! You are able to turn the loud monster truck noise off and are still able to use the truck. Another bonus is that everything you need comes WITH the truck, so you don't have to buy batteries or anything additional. My son was able to maneuver the truck around fairly easily, and it's now his favorite toy.

I got this for a grandson and he loves it. It makes all kinds of awesome sounds, lights up, runs wild and the battery charge last a long while. The graphics on it are super. The other grandson runs his vehicle with this grandson and no problem with the wireless controls. Charges with USB which makes it real simple. I would recommend this GREAT TRUCK!!!

We've gone through a lot of remote control items, I think my son is an expert. The Hot Wheels Truck has cool headlights that turn on and off as you drive the truck. The best part though are the wheels. They are big enough that the truck can drive on our carpet! My son was able to create an obstacle course outside and really run the truck wild. He's having a blast with it!

This New Bright RC Monster Truck by Hot Wheels is a remote controlled truck. My son really enjoys using it in the house. It goes over carpet easily and the controls are easy to use as well. We tried it out outside in the snow too. We thought since the wheels are so large, it would work well, but unfortunately it had trouble moving there. We'll continue using it indoors!

My grandson is a big Hot Wheels fan, and more than that he loves “monster” trucks. So I thought this would be perfect for him. The Bone Shaker is an awesome looking RC car, very nicely detailed, very eye catching. Working lights, realistic sounds, plugs into any powered USB outlet and you are off for the car crushing! That's what we were hoping for. Instead, the cover on the USB cord will not stay on, my recommendation is a removeable USB cord here, and the monster truck would move a few feet and the big, oversized tires would just fall off. Overall this toy turned out very disappointing and I would not recommend.
