My chickens really like this feed. It looks like a simple mixture of various cracked or whole grains.

Chicken feed can be confusing. Cheap alternatives are enticing, especially when your budget is tight. If you've been a backyard chicken keeper, you know how expensive it is, and the old adage that the quality of the fuel you put in is the quality of the health of your pet/yourself/your family. I have personally found the quality of this feed, as well as the unmilled corn-free (which we use in the warmer months) to be outstanding! NCO's mills provide the product constantly, so you're always going to get the freshest feed, with so many nutrient dense goodies. You can provide it to your flock in standard dry feeders or ferment it to get the beneficial nutrients going, along with more easily digestible grains. I highly recommend you take advantage of the auto-ship feature on this feed so you can benefit from the shipping savings. You can adjust your auto-ship date to fine-tune your needs. And if you ever need help, the friendly staff is there, ready to take your call. I have been so grateful for their outstanding care and customer service. I absolutely love supporting such a worthwhile business.

This is a good product, but comes with a lot of food dust particles, that my hens will not eat. Even when I soak it, they're not interested, so I end up wasting quite a bit. I've always tried to buy them the best product I can find and hate to waste any of it.
