NEW Performance Golf Thriver Mini Driver Lady

Great club for the money. Wanted to try a mini driver before purchasing a top name brand. So I gave this a try. After playing some rounds with it. I don't need a top name. This one works just fine.

The club performed as I expected.

As I've gotten older it's harder to retain distance from fairways and light rough. I've given up distance for the advantages of being in the fairways from the tighter tees. This club is great for both. Love it and it was affordable.

The shorter shaft makes this driver easier to hit straight than my regular 46” driver. Off the deck, it's like hitting a 3 wood, but with less errors because of the bigger head.

It works. very forgiving and I love it.

Had to regrip with a jumbo grip and still under review. Need a few more days in order to evaluate performance. Will reply again soon.

I love hitting this mini driver off fairway and rough. I would rate it a 5 star, but it does tend to fade when you hit it. Have not been able to hit it straight or with a draw. Might be my swing path though.

Got a nice price on the Thriver. Got the stiff shaft and glad I did because it is more like a firm between stiff and regular. Practice time should help get use to it though. About 4 Stars. Has a pretty good feel on contact. Maple Hill is always great to do business. Maple Hill = 5 Stars. Thank you.

Off the tee, I get great elevation and carry, but not much roll. My Ping driver beats it in distance on a dry course due to the add roll. As a 3 wood, it is great out of moderate rough. However, I am not sure it beats my Callaway 3 wood in the fairway. I have only played 5 rounds with it, so the jury is still out. I really like the feel of the club though.

Premium construction and appearance. Balanced, but a bit on the heavy side. Very good on pure strikes but lacks in forgiveness. Good value for the dollar.
