Alice is still Alice only her brain has changed.
I liked this movie. It is not to be taken lightly. It is a movie that you might have to watch 2 or 3 times to catch all the sighns and symptoms and family denyal that takes place.

Everyone with aging parents should watch
I was glad I read the book first. It helped to understand the story. I was disappointed the story did not include more about her deterioration of academic teaching as this was truely who she was.

Alice
As someone who has a family member suffering from Alzheimer's, this was interesting to watch. The movie didn't go into as much detail as the book, so it didn't capture how agonizing this disease is. The movie did help show how Alzheimer's does effect all family members, as well as the person suffering from it. It's not a show to go out on a weekend to "enjoy". We were just curious how the disease would be portrayed. The leading lady did well in this. Let's find a cure for Alzheimer's!!
