New Super Mario Bros. 2 Gold Edition Nintendo 3DS XL

Bought my son his first 3DS XL for Christmas for $216.91 after taxes at Wal-Mart. Found out a day later that they got the 3DS XL "NEW" Super Mario Bros 2 Limited Edition for $161.96 w/taxes. So i un-wrapped the first 3DS XL and return it back so i can pick this version up cause u cant beat this crazy price for 2 items with the awesome design from Nintendo.

I bought this because we had to send the other one in to get repaired and my 4 year old was going crazy. It comes with a game preloaded which saved money not having to buy a game. It really has held up nicely! It has been dropped a couple times and still works as usual. I recommend this for a "cheaper" option!! The only thing I recommend is get the warranty! You think you wont need it but you never know!

If you are looking to get a 3ds This is by far the best deal. It is the newest model of the 3ds and a really nice limited edition. Most other deals will be in the $200 range and aren't limited edition consoles. The free game that comes pre installed is a great deal as well, plus additional levels are included. If you are looking at the 2ds I would recommend spending the extra $50 because it is a much better value.

This Was The Black Friday Special Deal and I was going to get it then. Glad I waited since I got it for alot less which allowed me to get Replacement plan for basically the price of a standard 3DS. Plus the Limited Edition Design and Free Game put it over the top. I paid $174.00 on 2-12-2015 and as of today it is even cheaper at $169.00.

My 6 year old recently broke his DS after having it for 2 years so he asked for a 3DS console and said the only game he wants is Super Mario 2 because it was his favorite game. Well I spent weeks searching for used one because the new ones are kinda expensive. Then I noticed this one go on sale literally my first Black Friday/ cyber Monday sale) I opened the box when I got it because it was slightly dented but let me tell you. He is going to FREEEEAK when he sees this. He has been obsessed with video games for a while now and mostly and anything mario related he is all about. can not wait to give him this on Christmas morning!,

I'm 26 and love some mario. I grew up with it. This handheld was an exceptional value on the thanksgiving weekend event for $150. Even for $200 I'd say pick this up while it's available. You get a $200 system and a $30 game pre-installed. The game included is what you would expect from nintendo, Mario Awesomeness. Tight controls and tons of secrets. Plus the DLCs (extra levels) are thrown in there as a free bonus. The system is sharp and a collectors item. I was wanting the yoshi edition, however this value was hard to pass up and i'm very satisfied with my purchase.

Well made, larger then the regular DS. We've already opened it to test it and it works great. The 3D feature may be too much on my 5 year old, since it gave me a headache, but you can turn it on and off and adjust it. Seems to work with DS games as well.

This is one of the best priced units out there. Large screens, lightweight, good battery. You can transfer your old 3ds information or old DSI purchased games to this new device. It comes with the Super Mario Bros 2 game downloaded onto it, with the bonus levels, so easily another 40 dollars in value there. Considering the standard price for a 3ds XL is 199.99, this is really a steal. I went out and purchased one, and transfered my old 3ds info to this one, and am selling my old 3ds to really get the best value. Hands down solid system, and worth the money.

I am completely happy with this purchase, $149 for a 3DS XL and a pre-installed Super Mario Bros 2, you cant beat this deal!! It has a great quality, beautiful limited edition cover, on front (Gold Mario) and on back (Gold Luigi), the best I have seen yet come out. I requested to pick up my purchase at my local Walmart for free instead of paying shipping, and less than an hour later it was ready at my local store.

the ds is not in a sealed box like all the other 3ds xl's, so you will never know if it has been tampered with, the ds doesnt have a plastic sheild that normally comes with the ds good price however to never know if it has been fully tampered with is a concern and issue and none of the boxes at the store were sealed when I returned the first one due to it missing a sd card and the box not having the seal that is when all associates and i discovered that none of them are sealed
