Kirk Douglas is a true surprise as a comedian.
This movie stars Kirk Douglas as a human 'Wile E Coyote" that is laugh out loud hilarious! I have already recommended this to friends with a real sense of humor. I can see my 15 year old very serious grandson rolling on the floor with laughter. I highly recommend this and believe me, Kirk Douglas is a great comedian!

So happy to find this on DVD
This is by far one of the funniest slaps to comedies I have ever seen. My copy happens to be an original VHS. I'm a caregiver and one of my clients loves Arnold Schwarzenegger. She has almost every movie he's ever been in but had never heard of The Villain. As soon I realized this, I started looking for it on a streaming service. Of course, It was nowhere to be found (I had the same problem with Rhinestone, starring Dolly Parton and Sylvester Stallone). I immediately ordered her a copy on DVD. She loves it!! It's become her new favorite. Kirk Douglas and Ann Margaret also do an amazing job and are absolutely hysterical. I cannot recommend this movie enough if you are a lover of comedy.

A must see
This movie was hilarious on the big screen. Plot is like Wiley Coyote and Road Runner. It played on cable then disappeared off all purchase places. I even checked with local Movie Show and they couldn't get it. I am so glad to find it now.

Good clean fun.
Kirk Douglas and the horse make this movie, I've never saw it on the TV but still remember watching it in '79. So I finally broke down and bought it, I'm glad I did!
