Powerful acting!
This was one of the many films I went to the movies to see with my mom when I was around 6 or 7. My dad was in the military stationed in Germany, and going to the movies or the library were my mom's and I favorite activities. Viewing this movie again brought back memories, especially of that #1 title song. I must say that even through the adjustments and frustrations, Mr. Thackery still had a class full of angels compared to the students of today. At least his students were, for the most part, obedient. Although young people are quite different today, the acting and atmosphere of this movie is very intense, and the premise is current: give respect to get it. I will enjoy this movie again and again!

Sidney Poitier is fantastic in this movie. You just don't see these great actors like him anymore. This is a movie we will be watching many times.

A great teacher, teaches from the heart!
I love the movie "To Sir with Love", to teach from the heart, to care about your student, to keep trying to find a way to inspire them to think and consider their choices in life! Great movie!

Simply Superb
This Movie is as good today as it was the day it came out. as a matter of fact both teachers as well as students can greatly learn from it, spcially at times where the world compitetition is severe

To Sir, With Love has got to be one of Sidney Poitier greatest movies that I have seen in a long time. I saw this when ir first came out and still enjoy it as if it was yesterday. This is a movie that I watch often and each time that I watch it, it seems to get better and better. If you like any of Sidney Poitier Movies, you will surley like this one.
