I misplaced my original Samsung remote (I'm blaming my grandkids) and purchased this replacement. It is identical to the original in appearance and function and - even better than the original in my opinion - it is battery operated rather than recharged by sunlight. The solar powered original sounds good, but if it is not turned the right side up it doesn't charge. Best of all, this replacement is very inexpensive.!

It a little too fragile and needs some time of rubber lining. First day I got it, it chipped but it's still workable. Service was really good and fast. Thank you!

The remote looks like a direct replacement of the original. However maybe it's just the one I received… but the Disney button does not work and the settings button also does not work. Again maybe it's all of them or maybe just mine. Caution on when buying.

It works fine, the buttons work fine. My issue is opening the battery compartment is a nightmare. Very hard to open afraid I'm going to break it. My husband has to open and close it. There is no way that I can. If I didn't have someone to open and close it, I would of returned it because it was that bad.

It took some trial and error to set up but here are some tips: • the whole back comes off so you just have to push in the direction of the arrow • to pair, you hold down the “back” (or return button, I'm not sure what it's called but the curved arrow) and the “pause/play” button together and simultaneously to pair it to the TV Pros • for the price, it's a decent replacement remote • if you prefer an actual remote and not the app • for me it shipped within a day Cons • cheaper than the original, in terms of quality • no voice/mic button • needs AAA batteries and isn't charged by the sun Overall: I prefer to original remote but I lost it and genuinely could not find it anywhere. I had to get a replacement ASAP and this was the quickest, cheapest, and most viable option. If you don't care about quality, it works. However, you will see why the original is so pricey and better in every aspect. But for a temporary replacement, it does the job. (I usually don't leave reviews but I wanted to help those out with the things I had to figure out myself and from looking at other reviews so I hope this was comprehensive enough!)

we bought two one works perfectly the second one the circle button on the right side is very hard to use and has made me want to throw it away a hundred times already so I guess it's by guess and by God at this point

Couldn't get back off to install batteries. Went to YouTube a d watched a video. The entire back slides down. Use some force and push frt up and back down. Including picture

I bought it because I thought I was able to use it. But not I have to take it back because I couldn't open it and it didn't have instructions in the package.

I received this today and could find no way for me to add a battery. Says in the ad it said it was a one time use battery. Whatever that means and no manual with it. On the back there is an arrow which suggests you push down and it will open. Well, it doesn't! So I will be returning it and I'll have to find one that can do what this one doesn't do.

First and foremost, it didn't come with an instruction. It was hard to open. It just felt cheap and didn't have a voice response or anything. It was just cheap not not good.
