These game improvement irons are fantastic! The clean chrome look, the feel off the face, the project x graphite shafts and results are awesome. I'm a senior golfer and not a high handicap golfer (presently a 7 hcp) which these were supposedly for but I'm here to say they have improved my own game as well. Smooth and comfortable feel with super results. Super high ball flight with more distance and stopping power than my cavity back irons. Super easy to hit and goes straight as an arrow. I don't use hybrids because they just look like a wood upon address. These have the comfy look of my irons with the improved performance a hybrid would give. I've never seen such height with a 5 iron. Impressed. They are so pretty I even bought iron covers to keep them nice. They also arrived 3 days after I put the order in. Great shipping experience. Highly recommended. You won't go wrong with there.
Purchased some Wilson Launchpad 2 Irons from this company. Had to call them with some questions before placing the order. The staff was extremely professional and knowledgeable. Order the clubs, everything with the order went exactly as it should. These clubs. . . . If you're a mid to high handicap golfer, these are game changers (inexpensive too!). I know these have been discontinued, but if you can find'em get them, you won't be disappointed. These aren't like alot of hybrids out there that look like you have a bag full of fairway woods in you bag, they look way more like a traditional iron. As far as what they look like when you're set up over the ball, to me, the look is nearly indistinguishable from a traditional cavity back. If you can't find these, find some similar.
Went back and forth on choosing an iron set. Finally pulled the trigger and bought the Wislon Launch Pad 2 irons, have not played a round of golf yet but have taken them to the driving range. Feel and hit amazing, I am ready for golf season to get here and get out and play them on the course.
. . . I played from 2002-2009. I used a couple sets of cavity backs (Ben Hogan Apex Plus) and some blades (Ben Hogan Apex). Then a combo of both sets. Retired for 15 years. Then came back in late 2024. Purchased a set of Cleveland Full Face hybrid irons which are very nice but wanted something different. I decided to get the Wilson Staff LP2s. First in steel shaft and then in graphite. Both sets have great feel. Graphite has a few more yards than steel but both sets have great feel, distance and control. I'm assuming they're about to be discontinued but can only hope Wilson will build off of these sexy looking, very well performing hybrid irons. Great job Wilson! Thanks!
I recently bought Wilson Staff Launch Pad 2 Irons from Maple Hill Golf. I'm an older occasional golfer, and these are the easiest to hit irons I have ever owned. Maple Hill Golf had them at a great price, fast shipping, and were a pleasure to deal with.
The clubs were shipped quickly. They are forgiving! People asked why I got super game improvement irons. The simple is answer is golf is hard and I don't need to make it any harder with my ego.
Very forgiving irons that launch the ball high and far. Try these clubs! Despite what some say, you can shot shape and the shorter clubs produce plenty of spin to hold the green.
I've always played Ping irons, so I wasn't sure what the results might be. I bought them to be my “winter” clubs, I am very pleased with these irons. The height & distance are excellent.
Big fan of the LP2 and the sale price was fantastic. Well worth the investment for a second set as sadly they are not in current production. Interaction with customer service was fantastic and has the clubs in 3 days.
Overall I'm positive about the clubs. As advertised, they are forgiving and relatively easy to hit. My previous clubs were Callaway forged cavity backs. They felt better on good hits, but were more difficult to hit well. I'm 68 so I thought it may be time to try this type of club.
