The Prime Beef Steaks are melt in your Mouth Delicious the Flavor and Taste will blow your mind! These come from the USA, not shipped in from another country! If you are like us, we were tired of Spending good money on a different Steak and it be all Fat and non edible. My wife said this was one of the best steaks she has ever had. It was tender, flavorful and trimmed beautifully. The fat melted and added to the richness and flavor. I can appreciate paying for something quality especially with today's economy. Will definitely consider purchasing in the future.
The steak was delicious but extremely expensive. I bought a Rib Eye prime steak. The cost $29.87. Im a senior citizen and try to eat healthy adding this meat once a month. I don't see the price of beef at Walmart falling anytime soon.
this is the first time I've ordered prime quality meat from Walmart. having prime meat and many places around the country. but I had from Walmart was very, very disappointing. it's not prime just because you charge it for that, is prime because that's what the meat is. you are not prime m
We splurged on a prime steak for Christmas dinner, and unfortunately it would hard to be more disappointed. This steak was tough, contained way too much fat and gristle, and didn't have much beef flavor at all. We have had better select grade steaks, so the price difference was certainly not worth it.
As someone who consistently reviews grocery and household products for quality and value, I expect premium-tier items to meet specific foundational standards. Unfortunately, this purchase of the Prime Beef New York Strip Steak was an absolute failure in both product selection and basic quality control. When paying a premium for a "Prime" designation, the expectation is a high-quality cut with superior marbling, uniform thickness, and proper trimming. The tray I received contained an incredibly poor, uneven cut with highly disappointing marbling that barely meets choice standards, let alone prime. Worse than the poor cut selection is the complete lack of freshness management. This item was delivered today, July 4th, with a use-by/expiration date of tomorrow, July 5th. Receiving a premium cut of meat with less than 24 hours of remaining shelf life is completely unacceptable for a paid delivery service. It entirely removes any flexibility for meal planning or proper storage preparation. For a product marketed as a premium item, the execution on this order represents a total failure to adhere to basic inventory standards. I cannot recommend relying on this service for high-quality meat selections if this is the standard of inventory being distributed to paying members.
For a PRIME steak it was the toughest I've ever tried to eat. Cooked it to a medium rate and it still was tough. Won't ever buy PRIME beef from Walmart or Sam's again. Both times they were extremely tough.
This was a pricey piece of new York Steak Prime. It was absolutely unchewable. It was really grisly and every bite was spit out and it had no taste at all. cooked medium rare.
My T-bone or porterhouse steak was substituted for a ny strip. No where near each other on the spectrum for a substitution. I would have never paid $18 for a ny strip. We just completely cut out the ribeye. I'm not happy at all
my daughter did not receive and it was almost 24.00! they inventoried all the bags and it was not in the order, either it was in the car or at the store but it was not delivered
