The price of meat is ridiculously high, but splurging on occasion is a treat. They were extremely tender and had a nice beefy taste. Salt, pepper, fresh garlic. Sart with a cold pan, Fry 2 minutes, turn, fry 2 minutes, repeat until temp in the center is 125 degrees for medium rare, cook longer for a well done. Rest the meat for 5 minutes and enjoy.
I was hesitant to by meat from Walmart. But I dried the steak off and seasoned generously with salt and pepper. Placed it in the fridge, uncovered for 2 days. It was delicious!!! Melted in my mouth, very tender
Out standing Prime meat, thankyou soo much, marbled perfectly. Thankyou Walmart!!!! YOu never disappoint me , thankyou sooooo much!!! Sincerely Paula wheatley
I tried a New York steak for a change. It was good. But I'd rather go back to my favorite which is Ribeye, though Ribeyes can be tough but the flavor is fabulous.
very good steak, but way over priced, bought it for a birthday dinner was the only reason we bought them. maybe again next year! lol
These steaks are better than the NY strips Walmart passes off as 'choice,' but they themselves are choice at best. The marbling is a bit better (I'd call it 'so so'), but the issues with bad cuts remain (removing the strip that makes it a NY strip, and one steak is usually way bigger than the other). Overall, for the price difference between choice and prime, I wouldn't recommend.
One of the steaks in the two pack was fine, but the other one was like a scrap piece of meat, it was not a N.Y. Strip cut. It also expires today. My last order had a piece of meat that expired on the day of delivery as well. Whoever is doing the picking for Home Delivery really needs training. II should have done a return on it, but I didn't... It definitely is not worth the price for prime..
My meat had to be thrown away is was open like the front of the meat was out of the cling wrap. It also was substituted and I wanted no subs! I was so upset and I ended up ordering from another store for meat! I wrote the third party but not the shopper answered nor Walmart! I was refunded.
Not what I ordered, nor was it on my substitution list. Have submitted multiple return requests. In Home schedules the return, then doesn't come. This is the 4th day. Walmart has yet to process my return for this item that they pulled a bait and switch on by sending an item far more expensive than what I ordered.
Steak was so tough. I’ll never order steak again. Total waste of my money
