The tea lights are shipped in a box which is sturdy to hold the unused tea lights. The yellow flickering light is very comforting to me. At this time I am unable to state how long the bateries last, as the tea lights are used only at night for ambience. I am pleased with the purchase.
I'm comparing the 2 different tea lights that I recently purchased (Don't miss the following video clip!). These are definitely my favorite. I bought these so that I would have a bulk stash on hand. In the same p/u order I also bought the Mainstays Walmart brand six pack, that I could get that day. I was pleased to see that these did ship quickly. These are my favorite. There's a subtle light flicker %26 it's definitely brighter. Hopefully the run time will be equivalent, if not better. Merry Christmas!
very festive and really brightens up areas.
These are perfect for votive candle holders and looked really cute in my little pumpkins at Halloween. They don't overheat and are safer than an open flame.

The candles themselves are great--exactly what you'd expect. But the photo made them look orange, which is why I bought them (for jack-o-lanterns). And the box's actual packaging makes it look like the lights come in all kinds of differing colors. But they're all white. I am taking away a star for what I consider to be bad advertising.
they dont last very long had to change them buring the Halloween part as they went out in about 4 hours
They are very sensitive on turning them on and staying on
Battery life is not good. Used in a candle holder and it stopped working after one day. Have used 4 so far and they no longer work.
