Let me start by saying I am older and have occasional hot flashes and wanted to give this a try to see if it will equalize my system. I like that this is all natural and no chemicals. I have been taking them for two days now and do not see a difference yet but going to give it a whole month and by then I should feel a difference if any. I am hopeful that this will remedy some of the flashes that in itself will be great.

I have been reading about diindolylmethane and felt I could possibly benefit from trying it. Being the active ingredient in cruciferous vegetables I figured what could it hurt. I eat cruciferous vegetables a few times a week. I noticed it has 5 mg of BioPerine black pepper extract. I eat tons of black pepper and have for years. I already feel like this is a hugely beneficial addition to my diet. The pills are decently sized and easily swallowed. The NewLife Naturals brand is very affordable. You only have to take one pill a day. The bottle contains a 2-month supply. I feel like I have noticed a boost in energy. I think I'm going to have to give it more time to see what happens with my weight loss. I don't have symptoms of menopause. Or maybe I just don't notice them. I do feel like taking the DIM is good for me. I definitely feel positive effects. It's hard to describe exactly what I feel although I will say it is an uplifting lighter mood enhancement. Yes! That sounds right. I just generally feel better. I'm going to keep taking them and see what happens. I have a feeling the longer I take them the more I will notice the positive benefits.

DIM has a long list of benefits. Lately, I've been struggling with hormonal dysregulation. I have insomnia and PMD around menstruation. My moods were terrible and I didn't feel like myself. I've only been taking this supplement for about a week. Not sure that is long enough to give it a fair review but here goes. I have been on a estrogen prescription for more than 30 years and was hoping to change over to a more natural hormone supplement but after a week I'm beginning to have some concerns. I'm beginning to have some night sweats. Given a little more transition time it might work out okay but the other concern is financial. It will cost me more to take this supplement than it will to continue on the prescription hormone. I am on a fixed income so I must always take cost into consideration. I believe this would be a good supplement for a younger woman that hasn't been on a prescription hormone as long as I have been.

I've only had this for a week but I have some hormonal issues that came up after taking birth control that effected me strongly a few years ago. I've not really noticed any difference so far but in researching DIM I suppose that it'll take some time to notice any changes for the better or for the worse. I DO recommend talking to your doctor before purchasing this -- any supplement that affects hormones isn't something just to take for the heck of it.

I have been taking the NewLife DIM supplement for 2 weeks. I have had an overall feeling of well being while taking it. I can't absolutely say that it is due to the DIM, but it could be. I plan to keep taking it for a while. I don't eat a lot of vegetables, so it makes sense to take it for the health benefits. I like that the capsules are vegetable and not gel. Some people can't take gel capsules because of allergies. I also REALLY like that they are made in the USA. There is no bad taste when you take it.

I live a ketogenic lifestyle and sometimes find it hard to get all the required nutrients my body needs so my hair and skin were in need of some attention. It is made from cruciferous vegetables and that aids in my ability to benefit from the DIM without having to eat that amount of vegetables. I took one pill on the first day with food and immediately experience a painful upset stomach. I tried it again the next day without food but dranks lots of water. It was not taken in conjunction with any other medicine or supplements. Same results. I took one day off and tried again. Same results. It may be a matter of just my body adjusting to it, but I will try this again at a different time. The pills are very easy to swallow and not large in size. Digesting them was just the issue for me.

I had only read about it, it did NOT live up to the hype.

I received the NEW LIFE NATURALS HORMONAL BALANCE COMPLEX for men and women. It is supposed to be a menopause support, PCOS, and acne treatment. I've taken it daily for about two weeks and honestly haven't noticed any major changes. I'm still going through my early stages of menopause, (hot flashes and crankiness). I would be willing to continue to take it for a while longer because I may not have taken it long enough for it to take affect.

I tried this product for two weeks and I did not notice any difference or changes to any of my menopausal symptoms that would decrease at least hot flashes and night sweats. I really can't continue to take these capsules if I feel no kind of changes. I would not recommend this product.
