This salsa is better than regular salsa. The spice is perfect. Most salsas too spicy. The mango makes this an upgrade over plain salsa. And don't think you don't like mango. It blends with the other ingredients and it does not dominate
Newmans Own 16z Mango Salsa... This is Newmans Own 16z Mango Salsa..My palate is super sensitive...But I love salsa.. Newman's is the best..The mango, pineapple, peach-all great options... Newman's has all natural ingredients %26 it's great with tortilla chips... Safely shipped from Walmart-wrapped to avoid breakage..BONUS...The 2 pack or 3 pack is a great buy...
I am normally a FRESH salsa snob, but my husband purchased this jarred salsa and I was beyond surprised at how good it was. It's definitely a sweeter style mango salsa than the fresh supermarket kind, but it's great with salty tortilla chips! I have bought it several times since.
I recommend this product 100%. I prefer the mango sauce; it is delicious, and I use it for dip, for my Italian and Caribbean cooking, and everybody loves the taste. My guests always ask what is that I put in the food that tastes so good. I walked to my pantry and show them the Paul Newsman's mango sauce. It has a spicy touch and the sweet taste of mangos. Love it.
This is a twist on salsa sauce, adding a little sweetness to it. It tastes remarkably good. I don't like spicy sauce that's labeled anything over Medium, and that's about as spicy as this gets, while it also has a sweet taste to it that you don't get with other salsa, yet it's not candy sweet. I like the blend. It's just right for me!
This is one of those salsa you can not stop eating. It is not hot and spicy but the taste is great.
I have only had mango salsa once in a restaurant on veggie tacos and loved it. I buy Newman's Own products and thought I would try their mango salsa. I should have only bought a single jar instead of the 2 pack to try it out. It's okay, but, I had high expectations considering the restaurant salsa was fresh. This was cooked and too sweet for my taste. I put it on a green salad and didn't like the first few bites, but, I put a little balsamic vinegar with it to cut some of the sweetness and it was much better. I'm going to try it on other dishes to use it up, but, I'm not sure I will buy it again. Sorry Newmans, it just wasn't what I was hoping for. Fresh salsa is a tough act to follow. I did recommend it though, because, it might taste great to others.
The jars of mango salsa arrived in a soggy box. Upon opening the box, we found a mess of salsa and broken glass. There was no packing in the box; just a mushy mess. How am I supposed to return this for a refund?
It's ok, but wayy too sweet. The mango is just really overpowering. Tastes more like a dessert than a snack. I have to mix this with a jar of normal salsa to reduce the sweetness. Also, there is zero heat to this salsa, despite it being labeled medium.
where is Newman at? I need to talk to him. The glass of salsa came broken. cut my finger. I can't even open it.
