Newport Platform Bed with Open Foot Board, Multiple Sizes, Multiple Colors

My 5 1/2 yr old daughter just got this bed, to fit with her sisters' large bunk beds. She loves it. It fit perfectly into the small space we had, and we love the simplicity. The bookcase aspect is a huge plus, housing her stuffies now, and books later.

Exterior packaging poor, interior packing very poor. Several pieces were scratched and chipped, but still usable. Instructions were poorly written. Parts were missing four wooden dowels.

We bought full size bed for our 5 year old daughter. When the bed came, there were issues with paint quality, slots that hold matress and hardware was missing. Hayneedle did take care of the issues. After we received all missing pieces, the bed is still not sturdy. We rechecked every single screw to make sure it's tight and we didn't miss anything and it still unstable. Every time my daughter goes to bed it shifts. I don't let anybody sleep in a trundle, just in case the bed would colapse. If I put picture frames on the shelves they fall down when somebody sits on a bed. Now that it's 30 days after we bought it, Hayneedle won't do anything about it. When I called they said they will reach out to manufacturer, but I never heard back. I will have to call them again. Would not recomend.
