Excellent for sensitive skin.
Like many people, my skin reacts to adhesives found in many bandages and first aid tapes. Nexcare Gentle Paper First Aid Tape reliably adheres to the skin easily, removes easily, and causes little to no irritation. The handy dispenser makes it easy to measure the exact length of tape needed and tears easily. As a nurse, it is the first tape I reach for if my patients do not mention a tape sensitivity. When skin integrity can be maintained be something as easy as choosing the right tape, the decision is a no brainer! I know my patients and their sensitive skin appreciate it just as much as I do!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My ill mother had wounds that constantly needed tending with coverage that would stay in place for protection. Her skin was very sensitive and sometimes rather dry due to her condition/medications which often made getting her wound coverage to stay as applied difficult. We tried all varieties of tape but the Nexcare Gentle Paper First Aid Tape was the tape that got the job done. It actually stayed in place once applied rather then coming off almost imediately like others. You wouldn't think something labeled gentle or so thin looking would come through, but in this case appearances were deceiving. Thank You Nexcare.
Tape is good. dispenser is junk..
Not skin sensitive tape. Very disappointing
When I ordered item it was suppose to deliver by Walmart next day. Walmart outsourced order to third party vendor and item did not deliver until the following week and I no longer needed item. Item that was delivered was not the item shown on website that I thought I ordered. The item shipped was twice the width in a different type of dispenser which is not user friendly and half the total volume as advertised. Avoid this item and vendor. You can get a generic brand tape in the correct width and dispenser locally for half the price.
Never received. CS said it wb reordered but after a reasonable time lapse I have no information to that effect.
When purchasing from Walmart and Walmart sellers look carefully at the picture and at the description, the size and length of the product are different. You won't get what pictured and what you get is not as good as picture, neither the dispenser nor the tape.
This product ripped off my babies skin and it left residue. At first it wouldn't even stick then it stuck so hard to my baby's skin overnight. Trying to remove it ended up being a disaster because it ripped off layers of my baby's skin. I would never ever recommend this product. Can't leave a review with a 0 for recommendations of this product even though they give the option of 0-10. This is a scam. I'm forced to leave at least a 1.
Where is the 3/4" wide tape? What bean counter decided this? And what product engineer designed the useless dispenser for the 1" tapes? Oh, and I love the marketing ploy: 66% more tape (because it's wider). Of course, I now use (and pay for) 66% more tape because I don't need a 1" wide tape. I am tired of corporations making decisions that benefit only their bottom line with complete disregard for the customer. 'Oh, the customer will adjust'. No I won't. Too bad I can't give ZERO stars to the product and the NEXCARE division for their blatant, callous disregard for the customer and caring only for their manufacturing economy. And yes, I would pay more for the tape if it cost more for you to produce, so don't throw out the line that you are looking out for my pocketbook.
